Logitech G Pro X Superlight Scroll Wheel Fix
Hi guys,
I want to share with you how I managed to fix the scroll wheel of my Logitech G Pro X Superlight Wireless Mouse.
Please only attempt this fix, if your mouse is out of warranty. It is not worth trying it, if you still have warranty for the mouse, because if it doesn't work out and you go for the warranty claim, it might get rejected by Logitech, if they ask you to return your mouse.
Also, WD-40 is not really a lubricant, but this is what I had on hand and this is what some users on Reddit reported to have worked on them. It also worked for me, but as I said in the video, I don't think that the fix is permanent.
If you have any questions, let me know.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 on AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS and Radeon 780M Gameplay

Hi guys, Today I wanted to do a quick Fortnite Test on the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS and the Radeon 780M iGPU. The chip is inside a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 Gen 8 14" laptop. I've tested the following 2 modes: 0:00 1920x1080 DirectX 12 5:40 1920x1080 Performance Mode I didn't see the need to lower resolution. The game is absolutely playable on 1920x1080 in DirectX 12 mode. Maybe in big fights it will be a...

Hi guys, I wanted to do a quick gameplay video for Counter-Strike 2 on the Radeon 780M iGPU. The iGPU is part of the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor. The game and the drivers seem quite unoptimized at the moment. I tested the following resolutions: 0:00 1600x900 2:26 1760x990 4:08 1920x1080 AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution was disabled in all 3 tests. Enabling it causes the game to look worse or to...

Apex Legends on Ryzen 5 2600 and GTX 970

Just a quick Apex Legends game on a Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX 970 system. Although the game runs smoothly, I was suprised by the relatively low FPS. The recording was made with nVidia Shadow Play System specs: MSI B350 PC MATE Ryzen 5 2600 @ Stock G.Skill Ripjaws 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz Kit @ 2933 MHz 18-20-20-20-38 (the system is not stable at 3200MHz) Asus Strix GTX 970 4GB Factory OC Samsung 850 Evo...
Fortnite driver comparison on the GTX 970. Does it perform worse with new drivers? 399.24 vs 416.94

A (very) quick comparison of the new 416.94 driver vs the old 399.24 in Fortnite with the GTX 970. System specs: MSI B350 PC MATE Ryzen 3 2200G @ Stock 3.5GHz G.Skill Ripjaws 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz Kit @ 2933 MHz 18-20-20-20-38 (the system is not stable at 3200MHz) Asus Strix GTX 970 4GB Factory OC
GTA V on Ryzen 3 2200G and GTX 970
zhlédnutí 11KPřed 5 lety
The game runs very smoothly on these settings and there are absolutely no stutters, although, as you can see, the Ryzen 3 2200G bottlenecks the GTX 970 at some points. The game also runs fine on low settings (normal) at 720p on the integrated Vega GPU, but a little overclock is required. At 1600MHz GPU Clock and 1.2V NB/SoC, without any CPU overclock, the game runs smoothly with anywhere from 4...
Fortnite on Ryzen 3 2200G and GTX 970
zhlédnutí 15KPřed 5 lety
Although it is possible to play Fortnite with the integrated Vega GPU on low settings at 720p or 1080p with down scaling to 720p, there are some stutters and an overclock of the GPU to at least 1400MHz is needed, in order to avoid the dips in the FPS. Adding a GTX 970 to the system makes the gaming experience a lot better, although 1080p high settings is a no go, if you want to stay above 100FP...
Battlefield V Beta on Ryzen 3 2200G and GTX 970 4GB

The Battlefield V beta running on an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G paired with a Asus Strix GTX 970 4GB. The game runs smoothly, although the FPS drop quite often below 60, when everything is set to HIGH. The recording was done with nVidia Shadow Play, so there is minimal to none performance hit. Here are the full specifications of the system: MSI B350 PC MATE AMD Ryzen 3 2200G @ 3500 MHz with boost to 365...
I blew very hard into it a dust bunny cme out and now the mouse is like new lol, awesome vid!

thats why WD-40 is the goat! thanks for the advice my mice is finally fixed <3
After hearing about this solution I literally just blew into the scroll wheel really hard and it was fixed
I just tried blowing with my mouth, under the left click button, and holy mother jesus it worked. What on gods green earth is this sorcery
no fucking way, so the compressed air didnt work for me and i thought my shit was toast.. and i seen a guys comment on here about using a qtip and i was like you know what fuck it imma try it and that shit saved me from going and dropping another 150 on another one... that man is the real MVP
get a small interdental brush and clean it its much easier. Sometimes hair can stuck inside.
i cant believe it, thanks man from argentina!
Have they fixed this issue with the second version of the mouse?
OMG thanks!!!!
Thank you very much. It really works!!
Holy shit this worked, thank you so much!
Bro i just blew the mouse with my mouse before you said blowing wouldn't work, but it did. Thanks anyway
No bs blew into my scroll wheel really hard and worked like a charm!
logitech mouses are so shit
yeah but still better than other ones imo, especially the lightweight model
loool i can't believe that air sprey fix my mouse ty aloot <3
It worked! Thanks man, you saved me from buying another one.
The WD40 immediately did the trick. Thanks!
it fucking works jesus christ the holy wd40😍😍
cheers, did it and now my middle mouse doesnt even click
So glad im not the only one with this issue phew thanks mate
Awesome vid, btw try to use the WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner version, safest for PCBs. :)
I got this with 32 GB RAM for 680€ this January for my son. Added a 4 TB SSD and there you go 😊 Really great machine for the price / performance ratio 🤑 Myseöf am more into the Legion series so, but he isn''t a PC gamer.
Thanks! It worked for me.
I literally blew in it with my mouth and it worked 😂💪
it worked with my mouth just make a small hole and blow hard. ayooo worked litterly first try
THX, wd40 fixed it for me !
Holy shit man ! I just had blow my mouse with my mouth. Now my mouse is very happy !
You sir are a Legend. thank you! WD40 worked
I have this issue and the issue where the battery loses stick to where it's mounted so it just rattles around loosely. This mouse costs too much for these two issues to be occuring.
Bro this mouse is so fucking dogshit got the same issues as you got and then logitech send me another one just for the same shit to happen again
just lift the buttons up, they raise (be gentle, dont rip them off), then just blow a bit with your mouth, dont even need compressed air. instantly fixed my wheel issues
It is a design flaw of the mouse, they exposed the digital encoder of the wheel too much that dust gets in too easily. Using something like JELTOSEC "dry cleaner for contacts" which is made to clean contacts on electronics is better than WD40. As the that kind of spray is non-conductive.
Holy moly! just sprayed the wheele with some silicone used in electronic and nylon/plastic and now it works perfectly! thanks!
Just started happening to me. You'd think after 25+ years of mice with scrollwheels we'd have figured out how to fix this issue for good in the design phase of a $200 product... Logitech...
When I hear someone say "lubricant" followed by "WD-40" I know better than to watch the rest of the video.
Try WD40 Electronic/electrical contact cleaner instead of the regular WD40. It's not harsh as the regular WD 40
Okay, so nerds just found new use for WD 40
Note: WD-40 is not a lubricant I would recommend taking apart the encoder, cleaning, and putting it back together. Maybe a dab of mineral oil if anything. There are 'dust proof', enclosed encoders. EDIT UPDATE: My mouse had been occasionally double scrolling down. I didn't even have to take apart the encoder as I previously mentioned. Just a drop of iso-alcohol on the encoder 'gear', spin it some, and blast it with air and its good as new.
this mouse is such a piece of shit for 200€ lmao
It's Workkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much, I don't have any WD-40 but contact cleaner is working as well.
my mouse is out of warranty. And I'm not sure about trying it. Can I get opinions from people who have tried it and it worked? I'm really worried. Thank you!
not sure if i feel confident to spray WD40 in it lol, WD40 will dry out what its used on over time.. its probably why he feels more resistance the issue with mine is that it just jolts up and down when i try normally scroll, what a really annoying & bad issue for such an expensive mouse if you power the mouse off and flip it upside down & roll the wheel forward and back a bit, it works for a little bit its a really bad mouse due to this huge common physical failure
дружище, а сколько будет фпс в формате 4:3 и разрешении 1280х960? Настройки на минимум, кроме теней
WD-40 works perfectly.
£150 mouse with scroll wheel issues. 🤓
Ong bruh, it’s so annoying
I now own the mouse, no scroll wheel issues yet, though I suspect them to occur like later on. I'll just have it fixed by someone if it does. Shouldn't be too bad.
@@Soon119 I've been blowing air at the gear and it has helped, if the issue persists, I'll just apply some wd40
wipe with alcohol and use compress air (or jetfan) to blow it dry, problem fixed
Thank you so much I spilt something on my mouse pad and got in my mouse and this is working. Thank you so much. Pookie
I just blew air into my mice and it just fixed it😂 with my mouth BTW
omg wd-40 fixed it for me too. thank you sir 😊
wd40 for the win
