The Job that needs to be done || DELTARUNE [Theory/Analysis]
An analysis on a certain character in the hit game known as DELTARUNE.
Okay, so, this video was going to be one longer video, like, an hour and thirty minutes long- maybe even two hours. However, I felt the fatigues of- you know, working on one video for three whole months.
The GOOD news is that Part two is about 75% percent done editing- I can get that done in like, a week I want to say. However I feel that splitting it into two parts is the best outcome, cause then I can spend some time working on another video- something that isn’t UNDERTALE or DELTARUNE related.
The BAD news is that, well, 90 percent of the actual analysis/discussion/topics i have brought up is in part two. Which sucks, since there are probably gonna be things set up that can only be paid off in part two. Plus the video just kind of… stops. Thats because it just sort of needed to call it while i finish the other half- next video also just begins and gets to the point- the pacing is weird, yeah. Still I hope this video is at least funny to watch in the mean time
Don’t worry, i will upload both parts into one video for you true sicko’s out there- but for now, have this. Part two will come next Month, so patience enjoyers, please wait.

I wanted to add my two cents on how Toby Fox mastered foreshadowing in Undertale, and what it could mean for Deltarune. I have my own theories I wanted to say and bring to light. I wanted to make this video for a while now, but finally got to it. This was a great learning experience. My brain cooked up a really interesting thought watching this, regarding the first off-screen conversation, between Ralsei and Kris. When Chapter 2 dropped, and Kris opened The Fountain, people started theorizing that he is the Roaring Knight. Whether that's the case aside, a common counterargument to that was that he just knew how to open a Fountain because The Queen explained how on screen. So I was thinking, what other unusual Light World activities have we seen Kris do? He ripped his Soul out. I believe that Kris had the idea that he'll be free once he rips his sould out because of that one scene, because he was already free when the Soul was following Susie. Furthermore, and that's getting into tinfoil hat territory, I think that Kris "planning out" chapter two (plugging the TV, slashing car tires) might've also been Ralseis plan that he told Kris during that very same Susie vs Lancer.

Physicist esquire here! Uh pal um that’s not exactly correct for your explanation of gravity. Actually, gravity is mass bending spacetime and is not a force, but the ground accelerating you upwards. Also if we’re going by Newtonian physics (the less complicated version), all mass attracts each other. The earth just happens to be so massive that the acceleration you impose on it is tiny. Does any of this actually matter to the essence of the video? Absolutely not I just love being a pedant (also known as a nitpicker).

My favorite thing about this video is the humor. The beating people with hammers, the existential dread gang, the killpilled harmmaxxing, I love it. I could not stop laughing during the "I hope your tunderfal day" reference. ...Actually, nevermind, at 39:54 you got the name of "You Can Always Come Home" wrong, terrible video, 0/10
"I hope your tunderfal day" has been something that has haunted me for several months now, originally was just gonna recreate it word for word, but i decided against it. But yeah, I am glad I am capable of being a funny man on this internet of funny men. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me one day, as penance, I will now be going to hell to atone for this grievous error.

"Ralsei is not evil, Ralsei is just miserable" that is the best understanding of his character and actions i have ever seen, gosh i feel so bad for this poor boy Why does every toby fox game have a goat boy i keep crying over?
If I had a nickle for every time a Toby Fox game has a Goat boy to cry about, I would have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it seems very intentional that is happened twice.

Sans doesnt know hes in a game. He is apathetic because he thinks no matter what happens time is going to be reset, making everything pointless. He is not meta-aware.
In fact, nobody in Undertale knows they're in a video game. There is none of that in Undertale. When Flowey says "this is all just a game," he doesn't mean this is all a videogame. He means it's a game between him and Chara (actually Frisk), where "Chara" tries to get a happy ending and Flowey works against this, so he can keep playing this game forever.
