DG & Pia compete at the US Open in Orlando. This is one of the biggest sport karate tournaments and is right in our home turf. Master Maggie from Female Fighters Matter Too gave out an award for The OUTSTANDING FEMALE COMPETITOR of the night, supporting female competitors in the sport.

How sad that these young people will never learn authentic Martial men Arts for them it is only a sport of gymnastics tricks baton twirling and juggling What would happen if they find themselves in a real life violent confrontation? Unfortunately they would be seriously harmed because they never learned or trained in realistic self defense.

For the CMX divisions (creative. Musical. Xtreme) the competitors can perform their own routine/choreography
I believe they get there routines from the children's TV show " Power Rangers"

That was very nice to look at from an athletic standpoint, but I can't help but notice that my trained eyes (40yrs of experience) did not see anything which had any fighting application. Let me say in advance in case someone thinks I'm a hater that I'm not. I just happen to see how far we have fallen realistic Martial Arts.
This performance itself and it's techniques are more of a showcase Like fire Nunchucks It becomes it's own art, of course change the staff and you'll see more applicable techniques as well
It was nice to look at from that standpoint (athleticism and creativity).
