Coconut Dessert
Ingredients:
- 3 coconuts, shredded
- 250g of sugar
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, heat sugar over low heat, stirring until completely dissolved.
2. Add shredded coconut to the saucepan and mix well.
3. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture turns golden brown and the coconut absorbs most of the liquid, about 8-10 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
5. While still warm, shape the mixture into small rounds or squares using your hands or a cookie cutter.
6. Place the shaped coconut candies on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and set completely.
7. Once cooled and set, your coconut candies are ready to enjoy! Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
