Mendelssohn Andante Sostenuto opus 72 no. 2 Pedal Harp Cover (Sanne Bhatti-Losekoot)
A walk in the garden with the andante sostenuto opus 72 no. 2 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. It is part of the 6 Kinderstücke. The collection is also called the 6 Christmas Pieces, because Mendelssohn had composed them as a Christmas present for "his young friends" as an early edition stated.
The video was filmed in the Japanese Garden in Leverkusen, Germany. It is a 15000 square meters color splash with exotic plants from East Asia. The garden was initiated by General Director of Farbenfabrik Friedrich Bayer & Co. Carl Duisberg in 1912 and has been open to the public since the 1950s. This is the ultimate place for a quiet stroll after a busy day.

Chopin Prelude in A Major opus 28 no. 7 Pedal Harp Cover (Sanne Bhatti-Losekoot)
zhlédnutí 1,8KPřed 5 lety
Sensational memories float like perfume through my mind... is the nickname that Alfred Cortot gave to this prelude. Chopin's mazurka-style prelude in A major no.7 may be the simplest and shortest of all preludes in opus 28, but it leaves the player completely exposed. In these 16 bars of music, there is nowhere to hide. Any imperfection will be heard. So the challenge is to play every note just...

Rachmaninoff Prelude in C sharp minor opus 3 no.2 Pedal Harp Cover (Sanne Bhatti-Losekoot)
zhlédnutí 7KPřed 5 lety
One of Sergei Rachmaninoff's (1873-1943) masterpieces. This prelude was composed in 1892 as part of a collection of 5 works for piano, Morceaux de Fantaisie (opus 3). At the time, Rachmaninoff was 19 years old and had just graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. The second prelude would become one of his most famous works, but since the Russian publishers did not pay royalties at the time, his ...

Chopin Nocturne in E flat Major opus 9 no. 2 Pedal Harp Cover (Sanne Bhatti-Losekoot)

Here is my transcription of this wonderful nocturne composed by Frédéric François Chopin (1810-1849). I tried to stay as close to the original as I could, and I was surprised to find how few notes I had to sacrifice to make this work on the harp. SO RELAXING...
I just learned this on the piano this year. I had tried many years before and failed (never had lessons - self-taught), but I finally memorized it all. Now I hear you play it on the harp and I am utterly impressed. Great job! God bless you!
Wonderful
I could play this on the piano in my teens. (Much of Chopin was beyond me) Really well done on the harp which I imagine is much harder.
👏👏👏👏👏beautiful!
Incredible!
I know I’m late to the party but I hope someday you can put out some more.. You’re incredible!
Your video so gorgeous, please continue playing ❤
She should by a support for her harp.

Um verdadeiro balsamo para os ouvidos. Suave e relaxante
Amazing!!,omg
That made my day! Thank you, Miss!
Beautiful. It reminds me of the wind-up musical instrument.
Really beautifully played ❤️
It gives me peace, it's so beautiful
Bravo
This is amazing! As others have said, this was probably never meant for harp. You played the chords perfectly, just like Chopin said they are supposed to be a chorus of guitars. Per @gregniemchuk
This young woman is a blessing from God!
Ficou simplesmente lindo.

Slick loves this.
I wrote lyrics in Italian for a wonderful cat for this. I also learned how to play the piano just for him.
Amazing...
I love it
¡Impresionante!👏👏

YIKES. I would have thought this was only doable on a cross-strung! Beautiful!
Quite astounding
Chopin is one of my favorite composers. I love hearing him on different instruments. Your interpretation was so beautiful. Props to you!

there's just really something between me and this piece.
Fantastic. I want to learn how to play the harp now
My primary school teacher told me she played this once when she heard me trying to learn it on the piano. It’s just now that I realize how skilled she must have been 😳

Beautiful!
For much of my life, this piece has resonated deeply in me. Out of curiosity, I searched to see if anyone had played it on harp. Goodness, did you ever provide. Thank you. Beautiful playthrough. It captured just as much of the confusion and anxiety as the piano piece. That must have taken so much work. Truly, thank you. Keep at it, because you shred like the best of them on that thing.
insta?
