I moved to Australia in the 70's with my family and the sea food is awesome, the fresh exotic fruits are exceptional and the fish and chips on the beach is a must do. Sargent's meat pies, sausage rolls, pavlova, bubble & squeak. Great ice cream, loved having a leg of lamb for Sunday tea. Never had lamb that good in the States. You ask them for a leg of lamb here and there is no bone in. And lamb loin chops at the BBQ are sublime. Prawns to die for. Fresh milk delivered to your door in a recycled bottle with cream on the top. Fresh bread that is still warm delivered to your doorstep....OMG. I know it has changed and I would love to go back and stay for a year maybe permanently. Those were great times. And you have the best beaches and transportation. An amazing country. My mom was born there and married a yank. So I am half Aussie.

The Lord in his wisdom has used you and many more like you to be a watchman over his flock and teach that flock some of the doctrine that is not normally spoken from the pulpit. You and many like you have influenced my life in a major way and I thank you for it. You are a David with the wisdom of a Solomon with the fortitude of an Elijah. You were chosen and groomed well. I've never been to Africa but it still bothers me when I see people treating a dog or cat as if it were a human. These pets get refrigerated pet food from the store (those individuals serving containers have to cost a pretty penny!), a stroller to be paraded around in and costumes/outfits to match the holiday or season. Then they go to the supermarket with their humans because they emotionally support them. Neglected or underprivileged children would love to be treated so good. 😥

I found some Bulgarian white cheese (sirene), and I couldn't stop eating it. I think it can best be described like a cross between feta and Spanish manchengo (another sheeps cheese) because there's a delicate gamy flavor that's not overpowering. I also found some Kashakaval. I'm saving both to surprise a lovely Bulgarian girl who lives here in the states.

However when I was in Pendleton OR, on my mission, a member had a book store of sorts in his house and he had your book on success. I was a big fan of paperback psychology of this sort and I remember thinking, what does this guy know that I don't? After all I'm one year older than you. I read your book and enjoyed it. So 44 years later I bust out laughing when you mentioned the title. I've never thought about it since then. I connected the dots real quick and thought, he looked a lot more handsome on the book cover. Oh well, I looked better then as well.
