      @TheCarDoc1 wait until you try the ultimate 😉 that's what I own thing blows my mind. Not needed but the details from the motor are so strong they vibrate my entire rig. Also something people don't notice about simagic others don't do. Is when abs kicks in the base tells you if tc kicks in the base tells you. Just gotta pay attention. Haven't felt any others do that. Also the wheel flashes when abs or locking up happens same for when tc kicks in. Things nobody talks about that only simagic does. It's such a huge thing Also and helps so much. I hope you mention these things when doing more on it in videos with that f1 wheel also! Thanks.

I swear by this car, I would marry this car, and I absolutely adore this car with every single strand of my body and every single drop of my soul, my love for cars truly is single handedly held together for my love for fun. And nothing can defeat a GT 86 for that (Although, I don't know about modern MX-5s and that, I think, is the only car that could hold a candle to the GT 86. Sure your Ferraris and Lambos are awesome, and I love them! But truthfully, I would take this car over them (perhaps with a tune and an exhaust) due to the dynamics. And the people that say "tHe 86 iS sL0w, sO iT's bAd" are the ones responsible for killing fun cars, for killing enthusiast cars and for killing affordable cars in favor of whatever thing can do 0.0000000001 second faster 0-60.

    How good is the simagic base compared to other DD BASES LIKE ASETEK ?

    • @reviewforthetube6485
      @reviewforthetube6485 Před 3 dny

      The one thing about asetek is its center forces on long corners is to much it's to tight feeling even when lowering settings as laurence explained on other channels. Simagic has a constant smooth flowy feel while nit being overly heavy. Now it may be heavy to you but they like to keep there shaft with less inirtia then other brands. So it helps with that snappy feel. But of course you could test it. But as reviews have stated comparing asetek with the dd+ they feel almost identical and it's one thing I didn't enjoy about the dd+ also. Like some extra built in inirtia might matter what you do. Meanwhile you can feel the weight from the simagic is based on the actual ffb being applied not a what I call dead springy weight. But again we all test and feel things a little differently I guess. It's just been surprising to hear will, random callsigns and other comparing dd+ with it side by side saying they fele very similiar. So if you don't like that fanatec feel you may not like the asetek even if the asetek is higher end and has more power. It's funny random callsigns actually preffered the dd+ in acc over the asetek and that made him keep the dd+ over it. All great bases. You know I came over from the dd+ I cannot believe how good and responsive the simagic is. That snap is so good also with corrections. The hype for asetek started because of will but tbh my preferences and many I know are way different. He's someone who reduces a whole lot of settings so it's hard to actually understand his comparisons when the settings are so wildly different. Also eajc bsde uses them differently. I've found every base ive tried all can feel super nice, detailed, fast etc. All can be made to be similiar just some varainces and some differences in the implementation. Luckily others have tried its a great base but lots of honest people out there who get to test it next to other bases. The top 3 are def simucube simagic and asetek. Can't go wrong with any. Simagic has blown up over the past 6 months like crazy. Seems like everybody is getting them. Every page that asks for reccomendations 70% of the comments are get simagic and for good reason. Price and the quality you get is just insane. Simagic is very very hard to beat right now. Also luckily super easy just like simicube to use other wheels from different makers. By using the rng qr.

    • @reviewforthetube6485
      @reviewforthetube6485 Před 3 dny

      Nrg qr* my bad Also no reviews ever seem to mention is simagic is one of the only brands through ffb to tell yoy when abs is kicking in or just before you lock up. Same goes for when tc kicks on. They also do it through the wheels the buttons will flash when abs is kicking in or before lockup and also when tc kicks on. The best tools in simracing are that imo and then adding haptics to the brake omg all of that combined it's hard to actually beat simagic they thought about everything. Yet so little reviews actually bring it up. Massive game changers for me.

    • @Max__apex
      @Max__apex Před 3 dny

      @@reviewforthetube6485 I know simagic is better ….. will uses numb settings and then says some weird stuff about feel. Asetek uses cheaper mige motor with some plastic outside. Yeah I’d encourage people to start with a TMX/T150/T248 belt and gear driven model at the very least, or spring up for the T300/TX as someone who’s tried the Logitech gear driven offerings. Hey! I have the exact same chair (sim mounting kit I would say) combined with the same exact wheel base with McLaren wheel. And I was having a Logitech G29 before as well. I can say that the general driving experience is improved A! LOT! and of course it makes you have fun more and that makes you spend more time with your sim races and eventually that makes you faster. Apart from that, I would like to have a question for you @TheCarDoc the back of my chair is wobbling a little. Are you having the same issue with that chair? (Next Level sim racing chair?)

    Hey doc, was just looking through reddit for some info on the conspit hyrdaulic pedals and saw your post, did you ever end up uploading the video for these pedals? Just wondering since I am interested in buying them and wanted to know what you thought about them. Also glad to see the channel still growing, I havent really been on youtube as much but I still see your racing and flight posts on instagram

      Hey mate, nice to hear from you. I haven’t uploaded them just yet, although I do still have them, (future upload pending) They’re pretty good! They feel nice to use and the built in haptics are a bonus. I’ll try and get that review done very soon! I’ve been slow at the youtube for personal reasons but i’m slowly getting back to putting out semi regular content I’m enjoying the flight stuff quite a lot, are you much into it?

      @@TheCarDoc1 That's good to hear. I currently have simjack loadcell pedals but I am now looking at these pedals, I am into flight sim as well, my setup consists of just a Logitech x56 hotas that I use on my desk though, nothing like your insane setup haha, but it is fun, usually play star citizen and MFS
