Tra tutti, il figlio di uno degli orchestrali della mitica NBC orchestra di New York con le sue memorie su Arturo Toscanini, anche tutti coloro dai quali continuo a ricevere messaggi e apprezzamenti. Mozart schrieb, dass er Deutscher ist. Wenn er geschrieben hätte Österreicher zu sein, dann wäre er Österreicher, aber das hat er nie geschrieben. Nun kann man der Auffassung sein, dass Österreicher ja auch Deutsche sind, was schon von der gemeinsamen Sprache her nicht falsch wäre, aber das würde bedeuten, dass alle Österreichischen Komponisten auch Deutsche wären, was wiederum ja auch nicht falsch wäre. Dann aber könnte man die Aussage, die Mozart über sich selbst schrieb, nämlich Deutscher zu sein, vielleicht auch so aus dem geschichtlichen Zusammenhang seiner Zeit interpretieren, dass er, wenn er sagt "Deutscher" zu sein, er eigentlich "Österreicher" meinte. Wie man es auch dreht, Mozart war Deutscher, der am Anfang eines Österreichischen Nationalstaates stand und somit auch ein Österreicher.
Mozart wurde in Salzburg geboren was damals zu Deutschland gehörte, deshalb schrieb er dies in den Briefen, allerdings gehört salzburg nun zu österreich und so bleibt es
Salzburg in Mozart time was " The principality of Salzburg" so it was NOT Germany luckily ! Salzurg now is the pride of Austria !
Was Mozart damit meinte als er davon sprach "Teutscher" zu sein war ganz einfach eine kulturelle (nicht zuletzt auch sprachliche) Abgrenzung zu italienischen (vordergründig), französischen oder englischen Einflüssen. Nationalstaaten wie heute gab es noch nicht, deshalb verstehen wir heute etwas anderes unter einem "Deutschen" als das was Mozart damit gemeint hat. Nach heutigem Verständnis würde man sagen er war Salzburger mit deutschem Migrationshintergrund, denn damals gehörte Salzburg weder zu Deutschland noch zu Österreich. Seine Heimat fand er jedenfalls in Wien, wie auch Beethoven, der tatsächlich auch nach heutigem Verständnis gebürtiger Deutscher gewesen wäre, Mozart allerdings nicht.

Ma la gente che si lamenta del tempo ''troppo veloce'' ha sicuramente studiato 10 anni di composizione e 10 anni di direzione orchestrale per poter quantomeno giudicare, vero? Aahahahhaahah.
@lupash: Toscanini non ha "studiato" - formalmente - direzione d'orchestra neanche 1 giorno!!!!! Si era diplomato col massimo dei voti e la lode nelle classi di violoncello e di composizione al Conservatorio di Parma. Il tempo di questa esecuzione non è affatto veloce: è un miracolo irripetibile e inaffiancabile di equilibrio ritmico, agogico e di fraseggio. Un miracolo di virtuosismo orchestrale, nonostante l'orchestra in questione non avesse la solida tradizione wagneriana tipica, ad esempio, dei Berliner o dei Wiener. La poetica wagneriana viene portata alla luce con una chiarezza, un rigore formale e un'infallibilità estetica inauditi. Altro che "tempi troppo veloci".............. Arturo Toscanini è stato un genio dell'interpretazione musicale di tutti i tempi. Ed è vergognoso che gli italiani di oggi ne ignorino la figura.

Österreich ist ein deutsches Land durch und durch. Auch Mozart bekannte sich zeitlebens als Deutscher und nannte Deutschland in vielen Briefen sein Vaterland. Wer uns die Geschichte nehmen kann, der wird uns allen auch die Zukunft rauben.

+Wehrburg Ach komm, ist doch kein Geheimiss mehr das für die AT Mozart ein Österreicher, Hitler ein Deutscher und wahrscheinlich der Dalai Lama ein Chinese ist usw... Was am Ende zählt ist, das seine Musik wunderschön ist und keine von Menschen gemachte grenzen kennt!

Geh bitte! Mozart war durch und durch Österreicher! Bleibt bei euren eigenen tollen Musikern: Bach und Beethoven! Mozart wurde in Österreich geboren und hat zeitlebens in Österreich gelebt.

Frederik, aggiornati, i tempi di Toscanini sono esatti. Se a te piace più lenta non sarai soddisfatto nemmeno da Furtwangler perchè anche lui la fa più veloce di come la vuoi tu
Nino Pepe hai ragione amico mio bisogna avere l'orecchio ben addestrato a questo tipo di musica e non tutti sanno coglierne le sfumature.paola.
frederik - I agree, that some parts of the tempo, are a BIT-fast. Overall, the tempo is VERY-fitting to what the composer (Wagner) intended, IMO.
