The Creep, under the chrome
Here is the link to The Chrome Creep: czcams.com/video/9mdV1DZh_6c/video.htmlsi=muL20kn6Chs9pC_l
A view of the current setup
The wheels and tires will be changed to further test more tire options, the trenchers, hyrax, blood axe braven, land mines, injora rupture-ish copies, stock Redcat gen7 tires, scrambler, all have proven its crawling ability and may had required some method or adjustments to the rig to be optimal.
I honestly couldn’t hear the conversation and hopefully said something useful lmao 🤣

Testing the slow crawl and drag brake of the 950kv Power 15 Brushless Outrunner motor w/ 5mm pinion shaft. I believe it is the same stator size as the revolver 540 Outrunner. I am very happy with the results. It can slow crawl better than I expected from an aircraft motor, and has a great drag brake you can see in the video. • @kolten808
      @kolten808 Před 2 měsíci

      For 150cc and up? A larger diameter intake manifold, throttle cable, carburetor pilot jets and main jets, a modified airbox or a sufficient air filter. A slightly restricted airbox will have better air velocity but may hinder wide open throttle performance.

    SW4 esc beep code: * * - = radio glitch The throttle curve through the esc programming was adjusted and I think the expo on the transmitter is causing the glitch maybe I don’t know power is cutting out but not throwing lvc code, the light bar was an indicator of something going on. Maybe time for better radio? Update: yup it was the expo adjustment I did on the transmitter that caused the beep error reset to zero and, no beep error yay.

      Yes, I did re-jet my carb. I’ve never used a Nibbi PE round slide carb but you could try a 35 pilot and a 126 main. If you can start your bike with out choking it and you can get past 1/4 throttle while riding smoothly to full without exceeding normal operating temps then your pretty good without having to do a plug chop(spark plug color check).

      If it’s a new bike she’ll need to be broken in a bit before it starts to loosen up and get more out of it. If you have the stock carb look for a silver cap on the left side of carb nearest to the intake boot their is a air fuel screw hiding under there. DR8EA is the NGK spark plug for give me if I’m wrong, their is also a white sticker on the frame head tube kinda hiding behind the fuel tank and fairing that’ll give you valve gap clearance tolerances and specific spark plug type. I don’t know what rear sprockets will fit supposedly the hawk 250 was a direct fit I’m not a hundred percent sure. If you look for Suzuki tu250x front sprockets you’ll have 13-16t choices they are direct fit, just remember your chain is a 520 so be sure the sprockets you choose matched the chain as well. Let me know if you need more help. If you go onto chinariders forum theirs more detail for the xf250. 🍻😄

Especially 1st and second. Like a noise is coming from tranny idk what it is. I don’t think it’s my timing chain I checked the tensioner and that’s good. It sounds like a lower end noise is it normal?

    • @kolten808
      @kolten808 Před rokem

      @@tonymike8059 you’ll be able to get more speed once it’s broken in after about 1000-1200 miles, if the sound is a ticking or clicking you might have to check your valve clearance .05-.07mm intake and .09-.11mm exhaust, and check your chain slack it should be between 15-20mm. During break in try to keep rpm’s below 7000, 5,500 rpm is the torque sweet spot, and try to keep speeds below 60 as well, use 15w40 oil (if your getting Walmart oil rotella t4 or t6 it’s diesel oil)k&n oil filter # is kn-136.

Im running 2 Power Acoustic Razor 2500 Amplifiers to the sub. 1 amp per coil so there running 450RMS at 4 ohms each. 900rms total of 4ohm power. Talk about clean, deep bass. I had 2 subs n 2 amps before. I'm so glad I decided to try this method. So much better everything. Seriously sounds like a W7 gettin low. Once I get 2 more Amplifiers. @@kolten808 I think I've heard the same thing mentioned by other XF250 riders on Chinariders and it sucks-- this bike is one of the dew dual sports these days that has a tach. Too bad it's not reliable. Thanks for the info.

      @@jimrogers2795 honestly no problems with the bike aside from the gauge cluster, it has a great engine for most beginner riders, cruisers, trails and is very easy to work on and modify if you need to or have the know how. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another is my mind set knowing what I’m getting. Thank you for your comment. 🍻😁

    Sounds like it's running good. What was your final jetting and needle position? I've got a xf250 also. Currently running a nibbi pe30 and the same slip on as yours. It runs good but I'm wanting to try a different carb now lol

      Current pilot 35, main 126, needle clip second from the top. The my main jet is I tuned while riding in the rain when at full twist of the throttle without bogging or dying down.

    I can tell you that is not the sound or rich but lean. That popping is not a rich condition. Also looking at those clamps it is very likely you have a leak which can also cause that problem. Remember a bit rich is always better than a bit lean.

      Thank you, yea I’m not the best at tuning carbs and I appreciate your advice and will take some time to re-jet, as for the exhaust I welded on the adapter, I couldn’t bare to look at the clamps anymore. Take care and thanks for watching. 🤙🏾😁🤙🏾

    • @kolten808
      @kolten808 Před 3 lety

      You can get just about everything you need for your CPI from either racingplanetusa.com or scootertuning.ca If you plan to go for the higher end parts the only limiting part of the engine cases will be gearing, but don’t let that stop you.

    Been looking everywhere for a header that will fit but didn't see any links...my xf250 has that stupid cali emission and I need it gone asap any suggestions?

    • @kolten808
      @kolten808 Před 3 lety

      Unfortunately SSR Does not suggest modifying or have any performance parts nor do any company make performance parts specific to this bike. You can grind the two spot welds holding the evap system on the header pipe but don’t cut the tube off because you can thread tap it then use a copper washer and bolt(the bolt should be short enough so not to disrupt flow of header pipe). If you remove the evap system you’ll need an assortment of vent/vacuum caps vinyl or rubber to close off all the exposed openings to get your system to breath properly with stock carburetor. If you have the stock carburetor you can remove the silver cap on the left side of the carb that is covering your air mixture screw.

    Updated jetting for 33mm pwk: pilot jet 34, main 125, needle clip middle notch, A/F screw depends on your weather I can go from 3/4 turns out to 1 3/4 turns out. My temps are usually between 300 to 375 F* in town and depending on what I’m doing, I try to keep it under 375 F*on highways sustained from 50 mphs to 65 mphs. Uni air filter. I have personally went down to a 15T front sprocket for Suzuki tu250x.
