No way i just got rick rolled-
Can you turn stock market charts or bitcoin chart into music?
wow I need this as a DAW tool
This would work beautifully on the Bach's Goldberg Canons (bwv 1087)
"He's gonna be a mathematician one day or another" "No, he's gonna be a musician!"
Is it just me or does this remind anyone of when Remy and Emile are tasting food in ratatouille?
Can you do moonlight sonata?
Whaaaa? You say math needs to be precise? 🤡
Are you using just intonation? The last bit sounds flat on the 3rd and 7th lol
Awesome video btw
Nice, now lets try it with Ultimate/super Tic Tac Toe. Have fun
mmmmmmmmm
стока бесполезных слов и минимум инфо по итоговым рисункам.
but can it play doom?
Great composition and awesome performance Marc! In my honest opinion, your Lunar Trajectories sonata is at the same level of Gabriel Prokofiev's Beethoven9 Symphonic Remix!
1:58 All these circles make a square. All these circles make a square.
octopus toe
As a professional pianist and a python beginner, this is legend. Thanks for sharing ❤️
4:39 this illusion makes me think its shape is a circle and not a square
I need an osu map, that is generated like this, and you have to follow the circle and hit at the time it plays a note
Is it just me, or are the instruments differently panned? Maybe a mono version would be easier to follow.
It's definitely panning left to right as the melody descends the spiral. I tried setting my phone to mono audio and personally found it harder to keep track of than with the panning, but both are pretty hard bc it's not looping seamlessly for me (idk if that's the video or just youtube)
That's right -- the parts are separated. and move from hard left to hard right. And yeah, it's been a bit frustrating trying to get CZcams Shorts to loop it seamlessly.
@@marcevansteinI thought it probably was the app, that's really frustrating! One of the best, most creative uses I've ever seen for the format of CZcams Shorts and its biggest limitation is being on CZcams Shorts
How do you come up with something like this 😂 Wow
Wow, this is quite impressive and unexpected
1:38 что за график?
0:27 the path of a circle is continuous. Your piano notes are discrete, hence nullifying your entire video
I mean, you can discretely sample a continuous function; it's just a question of using a sufficient sample rate.
@@marcevanstein Yes, but that doesn't mean the actual continuous function and music are directly linked. You should also specify that rate at the beginning, lest improper conclusions be made, and proper discussion of what results different rates would yield become inaccessible.
I like the fact that it never got to the point where it was recognizable
So corner isn't the optimal start, as it can be assumed any decent player will then take center and you will always draw.
Is this a new John Coltrane jazz album
Right in the middle was fantastic and the drone ominous i love
I remember a clip from doctor who where he used the rotations of plants spinning around eachother that are spinning around in galaxies and used that to generate sound, what would that sound like in this setup? Using as much mapped space as we know and put it into this?
Have you tried this with any scale?
This is beautiful
The motive after your hit the ball the first time is beethoven niveau 👌
It doesn't follow the circle of fifths not play the chords so it's more a chromatic scale pinball no? Though, the pinball concept is awesome!!
Well, the proximity of the bouncers is based on the circle of fifths, which does affect the harmony. But I was also thinking of doing a version where it does voice-leading between the chords.
As always: very cool I wonder how you keep coming up with ideas like this
Could you upload a piano only version?
Damn Drake looking real silly now
how doesn't this have more views
As a special treat for being the only person watching this video, you can try playing it (on a computer): marcevanstein.itch.io/cofpinball
@@marcevanstein wow thx
first
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see why in the game where O wins ( 5:10 ) X would play C1. It leaves the door open for O to create a fork in the next move. A smart X player would play A3 instead, basically eliminating the chance of O going for a fork.... Please do let me know if I'm missing something 😅
"What music do you like?" "That's not an easy questioni to answere... How familliar are you with FFT and Circles?"
That fade to white almost killed my retinas :)
i'd argue this is just like anthropophagy from the brazilian modern art movement. you took a material, consumed it and used it to achieve your own thing
Fake, but 4 is working
Obligatory offer to play global thermonuclear war
The flowing variation made me think of that crazy piano breakdown in Hedwig's Theme. I bet that would be a fun song to do with circles.
Wow, this is a game changer! It works perfectly in PyCharm. Can't wait to follow more of your tutorials.
So, is this the continuous version of Für Elise?
I kept hearing the "among us"
Great sound effects!
Bad apple time?
