Where did you get it, looks fab
Snowden? Is that you?
What is the brand & model / style #?
I have two of these and I absolutely love them! I was looking for mods for them and this video did the trick!
Hi, great video and reveiw. I'm new to the whole fairy lights on a tent thing, but we said we'd do next time we camp, which is July, quick question, how do you attach the lights to the outside of the tent, is there things you can buy which it clips to.? Thanks Rik.
Err good question. My plan is to use the end hook. To create a loop and attach that to one of the pole sections. I'm suspending them around my wind breakers then probably feeding the main unit back into the tent via one of the doors. Although with the magnetic back I might take a metal plate and just attach it to the outside of the tent wall.
Interesting video however the title of it was cooking with not heating with ……
What kind of washing mschine do you have? Is it a combo unit?
It's a BOSCH Serie 4, no, it's not a combo. But any washing machine we work. Mine has a setting for down but I don't use it
Great vid. Thanks
Glad you liked it. 👍
This is definitely impressive! What is the name of it, where can I get it, how much?
I found it on Amazon market place. It was about £12. But I think they are from aliexpress. I'd pay the extra for the rainbow extra
There appear to be older and newer versions of this and the most popular item page (800+) on AE sells both but does not document the difference or indicate what you are choosing in the selection area. The ones that say "wattage: upgrade" appear to be the version shown in this video where you get both warm and multicolor in same strip, the magnet, the flashlight, and the USB power bank. If you select one of the "green" or "black" versions you likely get an older version with no magnet, flashlight, or power bank and only one color type of LED. This confusion causes some buyers to post negative feedback as they did not receive the magnet or other described features, but they likely selected the wrong option and got exactly what they selected. This is *not* the buyer's fault as the seller has miserably failed to explain these differences, but perhaps we can help some folks choose the proper product. I'll never understand why many sellers make no effort to describe each option accurately, but they either think that we can read their minds or they don't care so long as we buy something ;). I'm guessing at much of this based on pictures and feedback comments, so please correct me if I am wrong.
That would make sense. I when I picked mine. I had an option for ambient or multicolour (they could have been a few quid difference I can't remember) I selected the ambient ones. I suspect they accidentally shipped me the rainbow one. Which could be why I was surprised with the extra features
This is not next level. Everyone has already done the bucket & pool noodle toilet.
I know it's not an original idea. But I needed one. And had fun with my kid making it. If you have any ideas of content you think I should make. Let me know I'll listen to any advice
@@redwestonbushcraft5807 have you got yourself a Stanley lunch box? You can make a camping cook kit or coffee bar out of it. Lots of people are doing it (especially in Asia). Make yours unique and better. Perhaps incorporate your British mess kit?
That sounds fun. I'll look into it. Cheers. Are you from Asia? Where are you from?

Ao OK. You guys literally are the pioneers of outdoor living as recreation. Your hiking trails, rvs, camp grounds. Are fantastic
Can you please link the mess tin that you used? Thanks 🙏
Oh mate. I think I got these from an army surplus store. It could have been Johnsons Of Leeds g.co/kgs/hT2E6T5 Just don't buy the cheap ones. The edges are sharp, the handles are thin, and the material is weak.
@@redwestonbushcraft5807 thanks!
Would it end up acting like a space blanket and reflecting heat into the candle and melt the candle faster?
I dont know well have to ask smarter people than us. The reflector is outside the glass shroud. So I'd imagine it traps the heat anyway. I wouldn't have thought the little extra light passing back would make much difference.
@@redwestonbushcraft5807 thank you for your thoughts
@stevedempsey9749, no worries, stay curious brother
The information is nice but the sound is all over the place. I cannot hear you speak and all of a sudden the music is blowing my ears out.
Yeah sorry about that. I made a lot of mistakes making that one. I really had no clue what I was doing back then. I used to edit late at night when my babies were asleep. So I had the volume way down. I stopped doing that after about my 8th video. Hopefully my recent videos are better.
Omg this is absolutely brilliant 🎉❤ fantastic
So glad you like it. I've been planning this one for years 😉
Great info
Cheers. I've wanted to make this one for a while. But I wasn't sure my audience would enjoy it
Fantastic video Si!!! Loved it!! Well done to the winner!!

Not all Bushcraft folk have beards... Though I have been trying to grow mine. 🤣 I love your channel, regardless of the name. And digley res is one of my favorites to take my friends kiddos to. There's a few geocaches there.. (I think you should do a geocaching series)
I did a geo caching for another channel. I keep trying to get the footage to re edit them. But your right I should make a series.
Awesome share, have a great weekend.
Thank you dude. Hope you have great weekend too

Yeah mate. It's honestly way better than I expected. My kids fight over it. I'm going to have to order another 3. Hahaha happy new year
Nice. I got a similar height tripod from gooutdoors does the job but feels more like a squat than chair due to height.
Nice profile. Haha. Ive ises the little tripod stools before. This is way comfier than those tripod ones. And a little lighter to I think.
@@redwestonbushcraft5807 hehe. I might pick one of these up someday cheers and have a good 'un.
They seem to come in two sizes. I got the small. I'd recommend getting the larger one. It will be more versatile. (At the expense of compatability and weight)
Excellent video
Nice one. Hope you had a merry Christmas.

4/10 list my friend, I bought my dad a ferro rod this christmas and he burned the house down, christmas is ruined, at least we had marshmallows to roast on the fire. Thanks mate
You must have bought him a good one to be able to start a good fire.. Was he happy he was able to make such a big fire. Next time try cooking the turkey on it too. I'll show you how to make a spit roast. How are you doing. I hope you are well

Can someone point me to any real world, (peer reviewed evidence), aluminium cookware is toxic in any way?. or am I to trust urban myths spread by morons. by the way, good vid on the stoves use.
Thank you very much. I've had a little nosey around. And it seems to be all anecdotal evidence. The biggest fear seems to be acidic foods leaching aluminium. But aluminium is so abundant. Its in most things and even the air and water. I dont worry about it. And I'd suggest there are so many things we should worry about, we don't need to waste energy on this
Very impressed with the battery on that thing can’t believe it lasted as long as it did! great review mate 👍🏻

Looks like a good little piece of gear😁
It is fantastic. It hasn't missed a beat in the few years I've had it. I belive they have just released a smaller one. But with no lamp.
Great tips! Definitely take care of your feet. Those are what are going to hike you out of the bush. I tend to pack too much. I'm working on that . There is still the minimum that I'll be carrying for safety.
I know exactly what you mean. I carry quite a bit of UL gear. But I always pack extras. I'd rather be tired and comfy
A sit-pad is a great piece of gear! I use one to kneel on to save my knees from the ground. I like my Stanley Adventure Cook Kit. It's simple and compact and I take it with me to cook up a small meal while hiking.
And Stanley is bombproof. So you know you can lean on it. Good shout
A bellows simple does what you need to to get your fire going
I have a fire straw. Such a handy item so easily overlooked. Good shout.
My best and favourite bit of kit has to be my Fire dragon hexamine stove. Use it for camping and hiking when I fancy a hot drink or meal out on the go.
YES! I love my heximine and crusader set. I made a video about that along time ago. Good shout
My favourite bit of kit when I go camping has to be my rucksack!! I use it to carry my toiletries or food for a days walk or beer 🤪 it’s got loads of handy pockets, and my boots gotta look after your feet and someone awesome I know taught me the PROPER way of tying your laces which I still do to this day 😍😍
Of course. I dont even think about my pack as gear. But the wrong one is a killer. In fact I feel a video about this is in our future. Good shout
I'm in the scouts so this information is really helpful thanks
Aww thank you. I try to 'do my beast' I was a scout leader for years. I had to stop. A new job meant I couldn't go to the weekly meetings. What area do you scout in
Cambuslang
Oh cool. I have family up in Scotland. I love hanging out in the Galloway forest. Have you watched any other of my videos. There are some cool scout activities the popcorn maker is a blast. I used to do that as a race. Which team can gets the first popcorn gets front row at the movies
