So how well does your packout drawers do in the rain? My drawers on my toughsystem do great with that ip65 rating 😂😂. Its hard but i try not to drop cinderblocks on my boxes so I've never have a durability problem on the original or 2.0 toughsystem boxes but I do have more money in my pocket not buying overpriced Milwaukee

I don't know about today, but 16 months ago I bought a Bosch Rotary hammer. The Milwaukee I checked out had a motor made in China. I'm not mistaken and I'm not lying. Maybe they changed since?

This speech sounds like 2023 When they added the dividers. They even went to HD and added them to stock units. They were also hyping the accessories, but they are all useless compared to Toughbuilt. They need to be quickly removable

@@ToolGuyd i got knipex strippers that are older than that. That outlasted some miluwakee strippers that had x5 less use on them. In general made in USA tools have gone to shit quality in the last 10 years. New kleins are garbage, I have klein dykes less than a year old and they have chips from cutting copper on the cutting edge, Vs 20 year old klein dykes that the handles fell off but I can throw them off a roof and they won’t even indent.
Milwaukee is not even American owned.

ideas are cheap & easy. klein & toughbuilt got it done. milwaukee chose not too.
@@wim0104 I'm a big fan of those other systems too, but neither of those brands have rolling drawer tool boxes on the market yet either. Also, FLEX was the first to have side rail attachments, not Klein or ToughBuilt.
@@wim0104 Milwaukee was also the first organisation system as such and had no competitors to look at and refer to Customer feedback. Once done, its not that easy to implement a "new" system on to a system and doing so to be cost effectiv and mass productable.
Yes it’s always good for the OG to have competition. The competition has the benefit of getting in on an exciting idea and improving upon it and forces others to improve to compete.

That's a lot harder to do, as there are a lot of components that there aren't any USA sources for, but I'm sure they're keeping an eye on user demand.

Milwaukee is Techtronic Industries (TTNDY), also Ryobi, Dirt Devil, Hoover, and a few others. I owned the stock from 2017 until March 6th, this year for $60. It promptly went to $70 but now back down to $59. Because I think they are extremely well run with great products I am thinking of buying back in again, maybe next week. Any TTNDY investors here?

Let's keep focused on tools, not politics. Milwaukee's USA expansion and job creation has spanned across the past 2 administrations, and will reach well beyond the next one.
Interesting, I look forward to seeing what they release. I don't need any more electrical tools, but I might buy some USA Milwaukee to compare against some of those I own, including the Taiwan/China Milwaukee tools.
It would be nice to see some truly USA-made Milwaukee tools. Made in the USA means a lot to people who use tools daily. I have all the tools I need and then some, and I don't make money using them anymore, but it's nearly impossible to walk into a store needing a particular hand tool with the firm knowledge that you could get a quality tool that was domestically produced. Sears used to be that store... Craftsman may not have been the absolute best, but it had a solid reputation based on its "Made in USA" marketing and history.

i recently did not buy this unit b/c it didn't fit under my p/u bed's cover! They are certainly aware of the nuances!
I know they're aware of lots of user wants and needs, and are working to address a number of them. I suspect that it took time to develop a replacement design that wouldn't buckle under heavier loads.

I just bought 2 used universal chargers like the one one the right hand side. ( for the older NiCad battery) Is a light supposed to come on when plugged in? I get no light on either one of them when plugged in. Could it be if a battery is bad you get nothing?
