I love Jiri, and the performance from both men in this fight was absolutely masterful. With that being said c'mon bro, you can't be tapping on a motherfucker like that in the middle of a UFC fight. His heart was in a good place and it's blatantly obvious that he was not tapping out, but bullshit calls definitely do occasionally happen. It would be heartbreaking to see Jiri lose an absolute barn burner because he was trying to compliment his opponent.

It’s funny that the knockout came the exact way that Izzy kept setting him up in the first fight. He kept trapping him in the first fight then in the last minute he dodged the wrong way to get rocked and lose. Izzy had that first fight HANDS DOWN and he just made a terrible mistake in very end. This fight, he baited him the SAME WAY and then knocked him out COLD. Pure skill and Octagon IQ at its finest.

Regarding a rematch, pereira definitely deserves it. Adesansya was given the chance twice to assess his mistakes and adapt to fighting pereira before winning. Pereira beat him twice and adesanya only once. In this last fight pereira was doing so well not until he was beaten by a counterpunch which to me seems to be a lucky punch, but when it comes to striking accuracy/damage/amount pereira tops it, if it weren’t for that KO punch and it went for a decision, pereira would’ve won, that’s the way I see it. I think adesanya is just scared of pereira evolving and not committing the same mistakes he did in this fight because adesanya knows that he can’t beat him if the fight go the distance. Scared to lose his title to guy who defeated him twice and has superior striking than him, that’s the real reason why. Yeah adesanya doesn’t keep scores but mma fans do, we keep track and think pereira is still ahead of you. To most of us, I believe Adesanya’s win doesn’t make him the better fighter between them. Pereira deserves a title shot!

Like the commentators say the first kickboxing fight Izzy was robbed, the second he had putan hurt got standing 8 count but didn't finish him and got ko himself. In third fight again he had Pereira hurt but the bell saved him in first round and he got stopped. So him winning this fight is not surprising it should have been 2-2 at the very least or even 3-1 the other way. These two are great kickboxers but I think Izzy is a better fighter in MMA cause he can deal with wrestlers like Whittaker and Vettori whereas pereira had problem with Izzy ground game.

I cant Izzy and his "safe, outpoint style" championchip fights. BUT, this was incredible!
