A huge pro you touched on is the public transit. It just works compared to most of the rest of the country. The CTA does a great job with the L and the busses.

New to Elmhurst and loving it!

I loved the schools over there and I think it’s a very beautiful town and I loved the teachers over by York the only issue I don’t like being over there is a lot of the people over there a lot of them think there better than everybody and some of those parents are strict now to me it’s depends how strict you are I never had anymore to hung out really and when I was at York nobody really talked to me and I felt like a lot of my friends were pretending to like me I might be not prefect but I tried my best and I was very sad and I was happy to graduate from York finally

Let’s be clear. Housing units are becoming less dense and more affluent. Chicago is losing working class people while it gains better educated higher income earners. Additionally the work from home phenomenon has hit cities like Chicago very hard as its downtown business district drew people from 50 miles around the city for a century or more. Then came the pandemic and you got a perfect storm. The fact remains that the condo market continues to thrive and expand in Chicago.

I used to live in a place in the UK that was similar to Naperville. Woking is a similar distance from London that Naperville is from Chicago, it is affluent and has good schools. The crime rate is fairly low as well. I saw a lot of similarities between the two towns in your presentation

Checked out Schaumburg I'd say it is the one of the best around Chicago area . Best schools, no crime makes price start from a 800k or 1mil. So I understand you man, it's expensive for good reason. Thanks Brandon.

Stay in cook county, no crime, top schools. Value is going up but In Chicago land best option. Thanks for the video.

Lived in Green Trails for 6 years; loved this area, very peaceful and cozy with great schools.👍

Carol Stream seems like an interesting area. My brother has been there for a while and it seems like an ideal location, sandwiched between Naperville to south and Schaumburg to the north. It’s always been very quiet each time I visit, which is high on my list.

Whats it like being a conserative living in Chicago? The poltics have gone deeper in to the abyss since Mayor Daley left office? Thinking about moving back after 15 years away?

Downtown Elmhurst is was built around the Metra station. Thats a big plus. It has a lot nice small business.even the Elmhurst college is downtown. York theater is beautiful. I saw the movie little miss sunshine there on a weekday years ago and the theater was crowded and its proably still is. Downtown Elmhurst is vibrant. I shop there a day ago and I felt safe.I live in Chicago.

We are planning to move to Naperville because of the school, which school district is better? 203 or 204? We also heard that some of the houses are still in a bidding war and with the sell condition “As is”, the market is still so crazy right now, do you think right now is a good time to buy or maybe should wait till later?
