if you want to remove the heatsink easily without full disassembly, all you need to do is remove the cover, remove the gpu, unscrew the CPU heatsink screws and 1 screw inside the battery compartment and disconnect the fan cable, then you can lift that part of the case slightly and pull the heatsink out. this is how Acer do it as well, it's stated in the service manual.

Are there screws until the rubber feet (by the battery hatch)? I wasn’t able to pry them off. I wasn’t able to remove the back cover. Almost, but just a fraction of an inch. Any suggestions?

hello is there any use from replacing the thermal paste? would it even improve the temps? i have a lenovo b40-30 exact configuration as this one same passive cooled just the processor is n3530 it averages at 75 celcius and thermal throttles at 2.16ghz from the clock of 2.58ghz when used heavily

If ur laptop screen is still black after installing maybe ur laptop doesn’t support that type of ram if your laptop does maybe try different ram slots if that doesn’t work return to the buyer and get a new ram and try again

I completley disassembled this laptop, including removing the motherboard, and while cleaning a rubber with 3 holes fell out. Do you know where it is from?

I was able to fix my controller. You just need a dremel , drill and a small screw (you can use a ps4/5 screw)

I was thinking about overhauling my partners 2015 imac, with some new thermal paste and an ssd. it's seems really struggling to multi-task anything, and the hdd seems to be on the brink of death, but alas.. Apples artistic and futuristic mobo designs.. Really seems time consuming and nerve wrecking to maintain hardware in these things.

Two questions for anyone, I guess: Where do you actually buy the gimbal housing? How do you remove the right "side arm"? It looks like gimbal housings are sold without that one arm, so it would be hard to fix replace the gimbal without knowing how to remove the arm.

Скрипит с одного боку при нажатии сенсорная панель и туго нажимается . Причем после первого прожатия, оно не скрипит уже, но продолжает скрипеть через минут 5 уже, будто снова что-то мешает прожать. Что это может быть?
