Interesting (for me at least) look at a brand new unopened pack of Backyard Baseball 2001 Baseball cards. These were only available in the original release of Backyard Baseball 2001.

Very excited to have found this game. Certainly an uncommon game. One I might even say is rare? I don't like to throw around that word too much. Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised to see the contents of this box from 1993.

Random Salvation Army find. Where did you find these for the most part?
eBay for the most part. But this was years ago before the prices went up to the point they are now.
Beautiful collection
This genuinely makes me so happy :) My dad used to run a CD shop in the 90s and I remember reading and playing so many of these games after coming back from preschool or elementary school. My favorite was the Buzzy at the Airport! I am def going to show my dad your collection videos, the nostalgia is real!

I got the Classic Collection for the Switch for Christmas. It’s so awesome to play some of these games on the big screen 😊

This is great! As one of the very first employees of Humongous Entertainment, this really brings back fond memories. I wore many hats early on, doing everything from animation to character design, but eventually became the Lead Background Artist for most of the Junior Adventures, including Freddi, Putt-Putt, and Sam. I also recognize a some of the box art I created in here, including Freddi 3. Nice collection - thanks for sharing!

Auctioning the whole thing is your best bet. Most of the cards are not worth much at all. The two backyard kid cards command the most money

@@5taytos freddi fish in freddi fish abc under the sea on the ds sounded different then how she sounded like in freddi fish 1-5.
@@spyrodragonlover97 sometimes voice actors change for cartoon characters, it happens. It happened to Pajama Sam and Putt-Putt as well.

I sure do! I haven't really shown any of my non-pc HE games. I also have Backyard Soccer on PS1, Freddi Fish ABC under the Sea on DS, the Wii jr adventure games, and a couple Wii backyard sports games

i have backyard basketball 2007 on pc cd rom, and gameboy advance.
there is a game of the year edition of backyard skateboarding from 2005 on pc.

Amazing amazing collection!! Like everyone else here, HE games were my childhood. I just started out my collection, I have all the games on steam and I have a couple big boxes; Putt Putt Joins The Parade, Let's Explore The Jungle, Pajama Sam 3 and Super Duper Arcade 1. Very random titles but I hope to find more big boxes online and thrift shops. One question I had for you, if you don't mind me asking is how much have you spent in total for the big box games specifically?
Oof, well I started collecting before the prices went up they way they have. I never spent more than $20 or so for each of them at the time. I got a few lots for cheap, I got the majority for between $10-15.

Pep's Birthday Surprise definitely exists big box. Dunno about Moonbase Commander.
@@5taytos I don't have all too many of the variants. There's a crazy amount and often the differences are rather slight. There's at least five variations of Putt Putt Saves the Zoo alone with two of the variants just having different stickers over the supported platforms part. I'm happy just having the original release and the Jr Adventures rebrand one. I hope to one day have a website documenting all that with scans of everything. There's a lot of interesting minutae to get into. There's at least 4 different types of pens included in the green Putt Putt Goes to the Moon box depending on the platform and type of release. The contents also differ slightly. I forget if you have big box Backyard Skateboarding already. If you don't I'd take a close look at all the ones up on eBay right now 😉.

Such an amazing collection! Thank you for the updates, it was all such cool stuff. I still have my Spy Fox action figure from when I was a child. I'd love to find one in the box. Congrats on getting a complete boxed set. I look forward to the updated collection video. On an unrelated note, did "Pajama Sam Games To Play On Any Day" ever receive a boxed release or even a jewel case? That game always seemed like such a mystery to me.

Hm, prices have gone up quite a bit in the past couple years. Seems like a decent price now would be between $50-$80. I see some sellers trying to sell them up to $100 tho. What specifically are you looking for?

as someone who owned a couple Humongous Entertainment games for our old clunky E Machine back in the day and having the full box with activity book was so cool, i only ever had the bonus content for freddi fish. (pajama sam 1-3, couple putt putt games in no order, and of course lets not forget pajama sam one stop fun shop lol) this collection is amazing!!! even just the boxes alone are so fun to see. my brain lights up like a Christmas tree lol

Well, nowadays the prices have gone up quite a bit. Generally I would say around $30 is a fair price. Especially if it comes with the activity/comic book. Sealed copies will cost a bit more usually. I've seen copies of Humongous games commanding $80 -$100 recently. Seems a bit much if I'm honest. Good luck!

@@5taytos I don't even know what they are man! Educate me! I found them in a storage where I lost tons of money and these were what was left. I actually didnt mind the loss as much since I saw the joy of all the back yard baseball collectors having when these pop up.
@@ricardopiceno7123 yo sounds like you went through some nasty business. Sorry that happened. Those cards are a fun pack-in for the original Backyard Baseball PC game. They are produced by Humongous Entertainment as a type of "feelie" for the game. I have a video where I talk a bit about the various card sets. You should check it out!

Its been almost a year since your last update? Wow it doesn't seem like it's been that long. This was a great video! It's awesome you got Let's Explore The Airport in the big box. That came with my family's PC and that was the gateway into the world of humongous entertainment for me. I need to start checking eBay for those LCD games, those boxes are beautiful!!! I am shocked anyone bothered to save that unopened box of cocoa puffs. I would like to find the Captain Crunch Crunchling Game in it's original cereal box. I played that a lot as a kid.
Great update man! I just picked up this Putt-Putt Christmas tape with a book, I'll post a video soon about it! Do you collect any of the books? I've got two so far! Did you know the pink label on the Freddi fish jellyfish jamboree, is actually the uncommon version (the regular version is blue) Putt-Putt's balloon-o-rama also has the pink label as well (The regular version is green).

I know right! I love the books, the art work is so neat. Plus to find them in good condition is kinda rare. Pezhead has just about all of them you say? I wonder how many there are, And how many came with an audio cassette tape! Yeah man, the color label difference on the LCD games is very obscure. It wasn't even announced on there website, back when they came out.
@@mr.humongousentertainment6812 There was a Freddi fish book that came with a cassette; it was some kind of sing along. Pezhead would know better though.
@@mr.humongousentertainment6812 there were 2 books on tape, Putt-Putt’s night before Xmas and Sing Along with Freddi Fish and her Friends. The latter is one of the books I’m still trying to hunt down.

Wow, very nice collection! My favorite things to collect are merch and the more weird/interesting periphery stuff. Like I recently got my hands on the Fat Man’s book about game audio that discusses some of his HE work, and a Kids Top 20 CD from Belgium that contains a Freddi Fish novelty song on it.
Which series is your favorite? I poured so many hours into these (except the bear game?) plus backyard baseball..spy fox probs my fav but pajama sam so special to me. Thanks man , I may track down a few items to put on display in the house !
Ha i'd be surprised if you found hold the mustard XD. I hope you do someday find that game (if u haven't already). I'm still looking for it for my (admittedly less pretty but still pretty complete) HE collection. It's sorta has been hard to find for me. Not as hard to find as games to play on any day though. Luckily I have that one from my grandma who got it for me when I was young. Either way Your collection is awesome keep up the good work!!

No, not an activity book. The original release advertised a sweepstakes though, each box had a game piece in a foil wrapper. There was also a small catalog.
