That was very helpful 👍
Glad we could help :-)
Nice one James I got to use mine in anger yesterday at Mallory after riding with one for 3 years. I dont have an airbag race suit but shoved it on over my 1 piece and its as close as I can get to an airbag race suit good few sessions on the track then. Next thing Off the bike bang bounce bounce bounce and all ok bit dizzy and a few WTF's. New canister and good to go again. 100% recommend these for any rider airbags work. We never choose when we are going to have a bad moment so best to consider it before it happens and make sure you wear it.
Fantastic feedback thank you Iain!
We camped with the Loner Rider Moto tent in a terrible thunderstorm once. Howling wind and rain but the tent took it in it's stride. Heartedly recommend it.
Massively agreed - it’s the tent for all occasions
💎✊✊👍🌹
and yet you dont clean your chain guard... the inside i mean, the differecnce with youtube and professional i guess
Thank you for the comments, this is a video dedicated to an interim chain clean, not a full detail on that section of the bike. It is aimed at people who are new to chains or want a better understanding of the basics of chain cleans. Thank you for your comments however and fantastic feedback for all concerned
Stock is the best, extra noise is for teenagers
That’s the great thing about these different models and options - horses for courses
Mind sharing your height and weight....and what sized you purchased?
6ft and roughly 16st - purchased the LL size
How to you wash the cloth after using? Or do you have to buy new cloths every time?
Completely up to you - we prefer not to wash them - but keep them as rags after
Can I find the mechanism separately?
Love how this guy is riding in a vented jacket with 24 degrees. Perception of temperature differs so much depending where you live! Greetings from Valencia, where I closed my vents when the temperature was just 24 last week.
I wish I was in your temperatures lol
Pointless review. SP all the way, why the hell not! Also a quick shifter is great on the road too, not just for track🤔
Thank you for your opinions :-)
nice video got the same bags
best tent for GS riders! for all other riders: max bull$h*t.
This lock is the best you can get. However do not think its fool proof, Diamond disks still defeat it pretty quickly. In most cases meth heads and addicts have crap battery powered angle grinders with cheap disks and this will stop them.
Completely agree, nothing is completely unbreakable if you have time and the correct tools, but this gives you the best head start
5 diamond blades to get through it . And that was with it plugged into the mains .
Cleanest chain I have ever seen.
Thank you
its certainly not a wild camping tent,,,it would take to long to pitch,,, I prefer free standing tents,,,, also carry such a tent means less room on the bike for the little luxcurys like chair and tables and camp bed,,,no to my eye its to big,,, maybe its ok as a base tent..
Luckily they do the ADV tent much more suitable now
Really good video. Thank you
Very welcome I’m Glad we could help
Great video thanks from rainy Ireland so need this info 😁.. what you think of WD40 for the cleaning?
WD40 is a penetrating solution so will go past the orings and dry the factory grease and seals out - personally I wouldn’t use it as it will deteriorate your chain quicker
No discount on a $320 lock ?? $$$$
You get what you pay for…. You want less then you get less
Comparisons to combustion engines will always leave electric vehicles on the back foot. When oil prices rise and supplies run low they suddenly become relevant
They must have spent more money on speeding tickets than on petrol.
Not a single speeding ticket the entire holiday
Great video. How did you find the camping location?
We love to explore and find secret places, untouched location and many wild camping areas….. our tip - go explore and stay safe
Do you think this will be an in thing here in los angeles? Our non freeway speed limit here is 35mph
Yes it is already available over there I am sure
Thank , very helpful. But I don't have drivetrain cleaner and going to use brake cleaner instead
Please don’t use brake cleaner on modern chains, it’s an aggressive solvent and will damage your seals in the chain
Bloody hell mate! What a bloody complicated job. After 6 decades on dirt in outback South Australia, if I did this every ride, I would never go anywhere. Obviously you are going to a show and shine, not for a ride haha
Hello and thank you for your comment and yes, you are right. This is an extreme method for deep cleaning your motorbike change specifically for road use. However, with this practice and the right care, you will find your chains lasting longer and less interim cleaning needed
Good? It’s nothing more than proof that using CZcams influencers can sell overpriced products that are not fit for purpose.
We would love to know why you feel this isn’t suitable for purpose…. I have since used this tent many times in multiple different locations, settings, climates and weathers and it has and still exceeds our expectations? What do you feel it is missing?
Great video mate,thanks!
Glad we could help
Hi..This bags is compatible for my Aprilia TOUAREG 660 2024? Thank you.
Most of the bags from LoneRider will have the suitable straps ready to strap it to most bikes luggage racks or pannier racks
Nice video. I have to say I'd verh p&^%ed off if people rode that close to me.
It’s all was agreed for the footage lol
Thanks for taking the time to showcase this product and how to reset it. Every rider should wear one. it's no good lying in the hospital, regrettably not having one.
Thank you and we agreed
As a commuter/around town runabout I'd say it really needs a rack over the rear wheel. Nothing fancy there's no need for a big top box or anything like that, just the sort of thing that the early B.S.A Bantam had.
There is now a luggage system available for these I believe
Why does the bike need to go into the tent? Is it just security? Great video thanks.
That’s the great thing - It doesn’t have to but it can :-)
An LE Velocette for the 21st century. Needs a fairing. :)
Who knows what the future holds
I'm going to get the sport
Fantastic let us know how you get on?
You should show the helmet not being able to move around too much also, it's very important else you can snap your neck. But love the video, you're showcasing the right product. No subscription, no battery, no electronics that could fail, cheap af to reuse. Cant beat it tbh
Thank you and yes we plan to showcase this more in our next video
Love it
Thank you - it’s a great bond to have!
Just got one second hand for 300 bux
Safe riding!
Very nice, well thought out.
Thank you very much!
I can get my tent up in five minutes, no time-lapse photography needed. Why put a motorcycle in a tent anyway? They are generally fairly water-resistant. If you're that bothered about your bike getting wet, just take a lightweight cover! So many 'experts' on CZcams. The strings holding down your tent are 'guy' ropes, not 'guide' ropes. I wouldn't fancy my chances with this tent in a strong wind either. Not impressed. Ride safe. Love and peace.
Many thanks for your comments and feedback
Now I really miss having my old bikes 😂
Sometimes the older bikes are the best
I use kerosene or camp fuel to clean the grime off the chain, then wash the entire bike.
Completely fine for older chains but not good on modern sealed chains
@@MidlandsMotorbikers oh? Why not?
Would it be detrimental for the functionality of the vest (a k.a. less safe) if you wear a rucksack on top? I like the helite h-moov, but the vest seems to have you better covered (specially around the hips) Also, helite doesn't have an hi-vis h-moov.
A very good question, I shall ask helite directly and come back to you!
Which one works best as a rain gauge when the bike is parked out side in the rain
That’s an interesting question….. please explain what you mean?
hi mate how is the sc project exhaust on a long trip? any drone? cheers great video
It’s perfect, I actually ended up drilling out the baffles so I could make it louder! The Remus 8 had a drone but this one works for me
@@MidlandsMotorbikers thanks mate
I really like this tent. What foul weather gear are you wearing?
Wearing a Lindstrands suit in this video
@@MidlandsMotorbikers I just ordered one, thank you.
@@JamesFrost74659 fantastic news!
Kerosene is the way to go
On the older chains yes, however now the new sealed chains as kerosene seeps past the links and draws out the sealed grease
Rear rack?
Did you want one? Or asking where it is?
@@MidlandsMotorbikers can one be fitted?
@@colincampbell4261 they do a new side bag I believe
Got to hand it to you that chain looked new by the time you finished...top bloke
Thank you matey, top products combined with best practise helps
Living in London, which is full of 20mph limits I really like the mode switches. Popping it in 20mph mode and knowing I'll never get a ticket has real appeal. One thing I've not seen, is how big the charger is, is it just the pad you show in the vid, or was there a big transformer lurking somewhere? I'm wondering how portable the charging set up could be.
It is a hefty bit of kit yes with a large transformer unit also, all part of the fun lol
just purchased one, probably don't remember me, but we shared a couple of drinks at the ABR just outside on the benches of the main bar looking towards the main stage, can't remember if it was Chris Birch or Lyndon Poskitt sitting with us for a bit, nice to put a name to the face. no doubt see you again this year at the ABR, I have upgraded my tent again for the bike, this time going from my Vango Mirage pro with the gear store to this one.
Hope you enjoy it! Great to know I have a recognisable face lol Happy and safe riding and no doubt see you there this year!
