Rosie and the originals were great. What a beauty she was. Saw her in a couple of shows back in the mid 60s. Beautiful and talented. Sorry to hear she passed away from us. So sad, the good one seem to die young.

At 68, I was lucky enough to have older brothers and sisters. Music played in the house all the time. I remember jumping off the school bus after school and running home to watch Bandstand every weekday! I grew up with a deep appreciation for music. I miss those days. This song sure takes me back!!!!

I'm 46 and heard this song for the first time in a movie as a teenager. I fell in love with it and had to find it. I am now the mother to a 5 year old that I've sung this to since she was a baby and now it is a nightly ritual. It's a beautiful bonding moment as a sweet tender song- even between a single mom and her miracle baby. She knows it word for word! There's actually nothing sweeter than hearing her start to hum and whisper the lyrics as she settles in at night 💝

After living my life for 43 years and listening to this album when I was a teenager, now I know that I was always a real one, and everyone else was just front in.

This was the classic "slow dance" song of my teen years. Just hearing the guitar intro and I was on my feet and looking for a cute girl to dance with. Rosie and the Originals would ocassionally play at our recreation center's Friday Night dance and do the song, but at the time I didn't know they had recorded it. All the bands of that era/location played it.

Kids today don't know what they missed

Deep from the animals of rock ‘n’ roll. They’re all angel babies disguised as animals and what fun we will have. The problem now, nobody remembers shit about much of what happened. The counterculture is shot. It was mostly a reaction to the death of JFK, and those four lads from Liverpool. So much unconscious behavior.

Such a beautiful lady and song..... 76 and still love this song....I think I was in 7 or 8 grade.....we had a jukebox in the lunch room at our school....It played often.....Rest in peace Angel Baby.....
