      I used two different devices. This part was filmed using a GoPro, it's useless for these types of videos. I wasted my money. The phone is way better for filming but it can't film for more than one hour as it overheats. These are challenges of making these sorts of videos. The things that the viewers don't see. I appreciate you watching the videos with such attention to detail.

    Can't really decide if the young woman with the loud voice is Australian or American. Certainly the young men who are with her sound much more local, Southern England but definitely not London. They sound like they are really quite relaxed and enjoying themselves but a again could do with just turning the volume down a wee bit. I know that some people would obviously say that you shouldn't really listen into other people's conversations but like most situations I think that is a two-way street and I would argue that when people talk as loud then they make it very challenging not to listen. They have a responsibility to themselves and to everyone else who is using the bus or train to be more aware of their level of noise. This is one aspect where I definitely think that we miss a bus conductor. Because the train guard would just say to them quite politely to turn the volume down.

    • @busouting
      @busouting Pƙed 3 dny

      I think the young woman was an American. I noticed you get more chatter on buses in summer, winter time people tend to be quiet. It's hard not to listen to conversations when people are loud.

    • @neilburns8869
      @neilburns8869 Pƙed 3 dny

      @@busouting yes, exactly but the good thing was it was clear that they were no real threat to anyone and they were obviously in good spirits which is nice to see. However my experience with Americans is once they get started in a situation like that they don't really know when to stop talking. During the winter months people can seem a wee bit subdued due to lack of sunlight, bad weather,, seasonal illness or simply SADS where some people just get a wee bit down due to the different seasons. But obviously it's a bright Sunny afternoon and the trees are looking beautiful.

This is another good example of just how skilled and professional these Stagecoach drivers are, they really do deserve a lot more credit than they often receive. Thank you for this journey. Many years ago, I visited Boston by train mainly for the famous church. But also, as an Australian, because of the connection to Matthew Flinders, whose name is legend here. He and George Bass were the first explorers to circumnavigate our continent. I live near the You Yangs, a small range of mountains not far from Geelong, whose highest point was climbed by Flinders after he hiked in from the bay. He named this summit Flinders Peak. In Melbourne, a street and its big railway station are named Flinders Street, and opposite the station is St Paul's Cathedral outside which is a statue of Flinders standing in a small boat. Also in Victoria, is the big Flinders naval base of the RAN. In South Australia, there are the spectacular Flinders Ranges and, in Adelaide, Flinders University and Flinders Street. On another note, in this video I noticed more trucks, including semi-trailers, than I've ever seen before in your other journeys.

If needs be, reassure them that they aren't really being filmed because I know that even though there's no law against the filming a lot of older people don't really like having their photo taken.
