My name is Seth from East Oak Woodworking. I post build videos for the furniture I make for clients and for myself in the hopes that it will give back to the community and share some of what I have learned over the years. It is also a place for my clients to watch their custom piece of furniture come together.

This is a special project for me. I recently married the love of my life, and this box was a featured part of the ceremony. It's called a first fight box. The idea is that you and your new spouse each write a letter to each other and lock them in the box along with a bottle of wine. When you inevitably have your first fight you open the box, pour a couple glasses of wine and go to separate plac...

Thank you Sir.🎉
What miter saw model is that?
beautiful workbench
Ordered the vise plans. Thank you for making them available. Also enjoyed the calm music and voice. New subscriber here!
What happened to this channel anyone know?

Beautiful workbench!
Great
Again, good progress video.
Nice progress video, well done. I’m getting envious of your bench. 🙂 I really need to clear my space and start building my own.
Out of curiosity, are you in some sort of event production in your day job? I notice your router is using true1 connections.
nice, but for me you could have left the music out! The sound of you and the tools working is good enough for me.
What species of wood did you use for this build
I use draw boarding all the time when using dowels
Love your US ARMY FLAG. I AM A RETIRED PARATROOPER
Nice Shop. I’m just getting my shop set up. I’ve got a full cabinet Hitachi table saw, Boch 12 in Miter saw, a Delta 6 inch joiner, and table top drill press, Dewalt 13 in planer, Hitachi Scroll saw and Band Saw, plus a craftsman hand planer, Dewalt and Boch orbital sanders. Plus an assortment of hand saws and chisels. Now I need to get power to My shop.
Here in April of '24, what would you say about your Hovarter Vise? Do you like and recommend it?
The FAIL's are First Atempts In Learning
Amazing how much thought goed into building sonething you really want to doright doright😇
Gr8 vid Thank you😇
hearing what goes wrong is far more valuable than people realize :-)
1:20 Could you secure the spacers (so they don't slide around) by using dowels? I saw someone just using toothpicks just to hold them in place. Guess it's just a very small, handy dowel 😁
Beautiful job man!
You forgot the coffee cup holder!
Where can I find the cam-action dog-hole hold down with the long arm shown at the end of the video?
Треба мати різні станки для обробки деревини, та багато інструментів.
My first time watching yer videos! Wow is all I can say!
What were the biggest improvements with the latest version?
I built one using his plans. One regret: I wish I had built it years earlier.
On the off chance you still monitor the channel one word pretty much sums up my thoughts … WOW ! You are a real craftsman, thank you for leaving these videos on CZcams. I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.
Man, I just watched the whole series, and I can’t believe there hasn’t been a lot more views and likes. You do outstanding work! I enjoyed the videos and you were very good at putting out all your next moves. I wish you luck in the years to come, because I truly believe other woodworkers out the putting out videos could learn a lot from you. Thank you, very much, young man. You do great work.
This was basically the same as the first one!
2:38 plunge into this...no pun intended? 😂😂😂
hi there, i was wondering what you used as peg that goes from the lamp (gooseneck foot ) in to your workbench? it looks like a wooden disc with metal rod? could you please explain? thank you, great idea
Làm mặt gỗ luôn đẹp hơn bạn
OHHHH NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I literaly gasped when I saw the mistake! I am doing research to build my own Roubo and am using your instructions as a guide. Thank you for making all of the mistakes so I don't have to (Yeah, Right!). "Woodworking for mere mortals" -Steve Ramsey
I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great czcams.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.
Estimado muy completo y buen relatado tus comentarios respecto a la prensa. Es factible el que informe cuál es el aceite con que lo proteges
Good job! Where did you get your panel clamps or did you make them and how? Thanks for your videos!
Nice 👍
Respect for anyone willing to admit mistakes. It helps all of us.
Great video. Thanks for posting. I really like the curve you’ve put in the side pieces, I’ll be doing t that to the vide I’m currently building. Did I see springs between the faces or am I imagining it? Ken, Southport UK
Where did you get the hardware that holds the fence to the table on your drill press
Nicely done
What finish did you use? Awesome Roubo?

I've just found your channel and some great work you do..... Now subscribed and looking forward to watching more of your videos
Should have put spacers between the 3 parts of the top so it looked like it was floating a bit. Shame you explain every detail and multiple times for many things otherwise you might still have a channel. Watched at double speed and definitely helped but still to much detail. I mean it's a beautiful desk and you're obviously very talented.
If you'd used time lapse and fast forward far more to make these videos shorter and more concise then I'm fairly sure you'd have had a successful channel. Too long winded for such stuff. Oh man how, just how do you have such a clean work shop.
