Cold flour tortillas? Nope. You need corn tortillas for tacos and they MUST be warmed. They can also be deep fried or made crunchy in the oven by hanging them over the wires in the shelf. You may need to warm up before you hang them. Dry them in a warm oven but not too hot and remove when they get to the crunchiness you want. If you overcook them, then you cannot bite into them and you'll break a tooth. Personally, I just warm mine up and eat them as soft shell tacos but always use corn...please.

i have an ED that's partially caused by the adhd meds i'm on, depression, but also symptoms incredibly reminiscent of those of arfid. idk if i have that diagnosis OFFICIALLY so i don't wanna flat-out claim it, but same difference. i did have to go residential for weight restoration a few years back. i'm assuming mine isn't as bad as hers and it didn't really ramp up till i was older, but i did get pandas (the disorder not the bear, basically i was a super hypochondriac) after contracting strep throat at 11 and im glad that my experience wasn't broadcast to millions. it was embarrassing and scary and the publicity would have made me all the more vulnerable. i just wrote in my diary, the way a kid SHOULD edit: this would ESPECIALLY be fucked up if she had an ED for body image reasons can you imagine 😭😭😭

I went to an 'eh' public school for 2-8...we still did all that hands on stuff. We weren't sat in front of a "fucking book" for 8 hours a day. We went to the aquarium, we had gym and recess, we had art class, we did the egg drop, we had trout in the classroom one time and then released them in the river, we put the little plants in the window, we did science experiments... School literally does teach all of that; creativity, friendships, communication, cycle of life, kindness, the importance of movement, etc. But it also teaches the "book smart" stuff that is very necessary as stepping stones of a functioning mind. History helps form your opinions and critical thinking on present day events, science teaches you how the world literally goes round, math is objectively necessary, and language arts teaches you how to read, write, and properly communicate. It's so funny to me that what she plans on teaching in "unschooling" is literally just what parents are supposed to teach their kids. "I will teach my kids boundaries and play with him outside which I never could if they were in public school!" Huhh? This poor kid is never going to learn basic algebra or what the civil war was about.
