I Followed a River Down the Mountain and Found This

Beach tourists imagine the Canary Islands as dry deserts where only cactus grow. If they explored the interior they'd find mountains, forests, and this majestic ravine carved by water over 1,000s of years. Join my journey along the Azuaje Ravine from mountain to sea, crossing the fast-flowing river many times, and discovering an ancient spa hotel lost to the forest. In this video you'll see: - ...
Wild Camping With a Mystery Guest Was TERRIFYING

Sometimes wild camping offers total peace and views that no 5 star hotel could replicate. This is not one of those times. Breaking The Rules Is THE ONLY Way To See Nature

Common wisdom says if you want to hike from A to B over a few days, you need to book an "official" place to stay, like a campsite. But what if you want to experience real nature? Online moaners who've never been hiking advise don't do this or that, filling you with fear until you cancel your plans entirely. Instead, join this journey across a Spanish island, where I'll break a few rules no one ...

I imagine this refers to the concrete bunker. This was used for meetings but he didn't sleep there. He slept in a wooden building nearby. In addition due to the weather it was too hot for meetings in the fuhrer bunker and a much more flimsy wooden building with windows was used. The Russians went to great lengths to blow up Hitler's bunker but the pieces were so huge to let them be taken away.

The reason they don't allow wild camping is because a lot of people are disrespectful to nature and leave behind all their trash. If you leave no trace I can't see anyone having a single problem with it. Just stay out of sight where cops might see you, pack up early in the morning and nobody will even know. i'm not sure that this matters. people come up with great ideas while riding, but the actual speech we give while on the bike is not usually the easiest to listen to as we didn't yet have the time to find the exact right words. so recording the idea for yourself is absolutely useful, but a voice recording will do that just fine. after it's a fully fledged idea of a speech, whether the camera you use is stationary or not makes little difference.

In the Nordic countries this has been normal for ages. Back in 1979, I was coming on a train from Denmark to Sweden and as usual, the border controls came and asked for passports, I didn't care to dig out my passport so I just said to them "Finländare" (Finnish in Swedish language), nothing else. They didn't bother me after that, they just asked the other people for their passports.

I drove whilst iiving in Kalix and when I later on moved to Haparanda i used to ride my bike or walk. As a student I was no stranger to parties either, and on weekends I crossed drunk on several occations. Over the years the border guards only stopped me once, while driving to school. A couple of years after exam they closed the border check all together. "The twin cities" surely live up to their name! Fairly similar to Sweden. Insulation has gotten a lot better since around the year 2000. Modern homes typically have very thick walls to accommodate a lot of insulation. We also use ventilation that uses the heat in the exhaust to heat up the intake air with a heat exchanger which can save up to 90% of the heat normally lost via ventilation. Windows have gotten thicker and with more layers of glass over the years as well. Older houses can be very costly to heat up during winter though as they tend to not have very good insulation. Especially homes from before the 1960s that haven’t received extra insulation. Before the oil crisis in the 70s oil was so cheap it was used to heat homes and you didn’t worry much about insulation but after the prices of energy skyrocketed insulation became important.
