33:53 You do know that the longer someone wears the symbiote, the harder it is to get it of, right? It's the same thing with the Raimi film. The game literally established that the symbiote slowly takes over peter, that it even has a peace of the Symbiote still inside of him. Like that's why his suit changed, That's why Peter slowly turns into a prick. MJ had the symbiote for a very very short time, Maybe like 5 to 10 minutes or so. Peter had the suit for days. So of course it's easier to get it of. Cause the symbiote didn't completely take MJ over yet.

The thing that sucked for me is when Pete wore the black suit and you do "The flame" side ques Peter acts all goody goody and not at all aggressive like he should. That really irritated me.

A wise man once said let's forget about six and go play yakuza 0 instead. I was never a big fan of 6 due to the plot just being stupid, much of the cast being dumb, Haruka at her upmost stupidist(seriously she ran away, fucks a loser and now we have the stupid baby plot), the combat is not as good as the past games except 3 and that Ending............yeah great job in saying this is Kiryu's final game......except this ending is stupid and you guys then decide to bring him back for 7, 8 and Gaiden because you can't give up the keys away from your 'sonic the hedgehog'. Hell 8 made me pisses especially because really? Only certain people can know that Kiryu exists but not others.....screw off Sega, I am sticking with Gaiden, Judgment, Lost Judgment, 0, 2 and 4 if THIS is where Kiryu ends up in.

does anyone else find it weird how in almost every modern spiderman story they always try to do this build up arc where norman osborn becomes evil, instead of just having him already be the green goblin from the start? i mean, isn’t this spiderman like 8 years into his superhero career? why do they need to dance around norman becoming the green goblin for the 50th time?

I think the reason Peter had a much harder time ripping the symbiote off as opposed to MJ is mainly due to him still grieving over Aunt May's death, plus the stress of being a good enough hero overall. MJ doesn't have those stakes to worry about, and she has Peter to quickly snap her back to her senses before the symbiote can attach itself further into her mind. Don't get me wrong, I do wish that MJ could've kept it longer. I think instead of her helping out Miles and Peter at the end, it would've been cooler if it was Miles and Peter vs. Harry and Scream. It would've upped the stakes substantially for Peter.

I just finished this game now and thank you for summing up my entire feelings towards this game. I love the bombastic, Hollywood-esque, Michael Bay style action in this sequel compared to the first and Miles' game, but man the writing is just so poorly done. The side quests are also very immersion breaking because of so many modern day references and it feels like the game wanted to lecture you about it. And the godawful pedestrians and NPCs. I'm Asian, but I'm pretty sure that New York should pretty much have more white people than Asians and African Americans. And it's funny how you get to see white people from the thug enemies more than the rest of the NPC population. Edit: You forgot to include Silk's reveal in the post credit cutscene, so yeah just adding that in.

The fact that they are so afraid to make Miles look bad is what makes this game a failure in storytelling.

I have not finished the game yet but Mj missions are stealth missions where u can die, fail, lose. Spider man stealth is just be hidden until u win or they find u and u just easily fight ur way out. I agree they may not make story sense or be realistic but being able sneak past a lot of enemies or basically speed run a section designed to be slow was fun for me. There are actually decisions to make or more than one way to play them (mostly talking about the lizard mj mission)

This is minor but I don’t think superheroes hiding their identities from their loved ones protects them. Like how does me not telling my friend that im a superhero put them in danger? It’s not like im gonna stop hanging out with them so if they don’t know and a villain finds out, the friend will be targeted anyway. If anything telling your friend helps because they can contact you directly. Anyway Rio found out Miles’ identity in his solo game

Honestly you voiced my issues with the game. I played it, enjoyed it. Adored getting my edgy boi for the short time he was around. But it didn’t amaze me and I was ready for it to be over at the end, whereas I felt THE OPPOSITE before the Kraven fight. My take away after immediately finishing it is that it wasn’t a bad experience, I may be eager to New Game + it later, but I do felt like they tried to do too much. Miles being especially odd. They do not enough at all in the second act and then way too much in the third. I thought that Mr. Negative was gonna be Miles’ black suit; that both Spider-men would go down a dark path and then rise together. Which they did do that, kinda, but in chasing both rabbits perhaps they failed to catch one, as Peter’s black suit was way too short and Miles just generally wanted to find Mr. Negative, but not to the degree that he harmed anyone as far as I recall. Mr. Negative has mind control powers, perhaps he could have sent minions or done something to try to solicit help from Kraven’s base, and that could’ve sent Miles on a mission, getting more and more frustrated as he gets closer but not quite finding him. I dunno, just an idea, but the game is busy enough as it is for how short it is (why does this always happen with Venom?)

If this game is the future, count me out. But now with gamergate 2, sweetbaby Inc and their incredibly hate filled racist founder who tweeted about sending a pic of a dead woman to someone she hated (these people hate eveyone) out of the bag, makes sense why games like Alan wake 2 are drab, boring, race swapping garbage.

Quantum break is actually a good game. Control is ok. Kind of a mess when it comes to finding the next objective. Like a.w.2. Play quantum break. Its a good story.not a diluted mess.

Yeah after just finishing the game you pretty much summed up how i feel about it as well, there are parts of it that i really dont care for but the good parts SLAP. Hope they focus on giving the combat more of an identity in the sequel or dlc.

I think they use Doc Conners because they can’t/don’t use Mr. Fantastic he’s who Peter went to in the comics. (He’s fairly close to the Fantastic Four in the comics)

The MJ face thing is just straight incorrect, yes the model looks like that writer but has to do with Sweetbaby Inc, I can see this same thing happen with every game they touch, the females are intentionally made uglier and there is a whole history of them openly stating this is their goal and they want to change how women are depicted in games, they purposely made her uglier to be more "relatable" which fails miserable

This may be the biggest waste of $120 I ever spent..I uninstalled this game months ago.Invasions is TERRIBLE and the character customization in this game is basically ZERO.I grew to hate the unbalanced cameo system and imo the graphics look like a Saturday morning cartoon and characters are designed so bland and boring.Im forever done with it,good luck grinding your life away for color palettes of the same skins you’ve had since day 1.👎🏾

So I know I'm late, but the reason MJ looks different is because her facial model got into a car crash and had to get a ton of surgeries done on her jaw.

Problem is, the game already made a massive load of money. So who knows if they listen to fan feedback about story beats or if they even care. Cause they need new writers for spider-man 3.

I have always felt genuinely gaslit by the positive coverage of this game. I could never fathom why what was supposed to be Kiryu's last game was the testing ground for the Dragon Engine, which was absolutely not done cooking yet, especially when a spinoff starring a new character with new combat was next on the development list. I started with Yakuza 0 and Kiwami, and going from those buttery smooth 60FPS games with the multiple fighting styles to the single style choppy janky combat of 6 was such a goddamn letdown. And then there's the story. I'm actually shocked you let the ludicrous plot contrivances go unmentioned because Jesus. Like Haruka just HAPPENED to wander into the town housing the biggest potential political scandal in Japan, where she HAPPENED to meet and fall in love with the secret son of a Chinese Triad leader, who HAPPENED to be in the process of getting sucked into the same conspiracy. Kiryu investigates this and the first bar he goes to HAPPENS to be run by the wife of Someya, who HAPPENS to also be getting involved in the conspiracy. And that's off the top of my head, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. I know every Yakuza plot has some degree of coincidence and contrivance tying the characters together but this is some lazy bullshit. And that's not even getting into the multiple plot contradictions, including with the ending itself. Kiryu decides to fake his death so that his family can stop getting roped in to the Yakuza's bullshit...never minding the fact that this whole shitshow went down because he "nobly" went to jail and wasn't there to stop Haruka from making dumb decisions that set all of this in motion. And that's to say nothing of how all the bullshit with Nishiki and Yumi went down because of his dumb macho "sacrifice" back then. He just comes off as an idiot who has learned not a goddamn thing from his life of tragedy, and honesty I'm mad that in future titles no one ever lets him have it for making such and idiotic, honestly incredibly selfish decision that ultimately just caused a lot of pain for a whole lot of fucking nothing.

"I can't even imagine being an original fan of the first one and getting this gem of a sequel..." I played the first one on the release day. I've completed it over the years 5 times minimum. I've considered it my favourite game of all time. I also loved Control and all its connection to Alan. So, to put it lightly, I was very exited about AW2. I did not like it one bit. I did not like it so much that now I question my feelings about the first game. That happens, I guess😅

the double wall slam can be done in the streets, it's just exceptionally rare to see. Pretty sure Suppon Street is the one place I've seen it on the street. It may be possible in other places with small shop doorways. You can also do it when the Majima Family attacks Shangri-La even though that segment is only like two rooms of enemies.
