The difference between Ireland and the rest of Europe though is the fact in Ireland you can ride most of the year where as a lot of Europe they might have to park their bikes up for the Winter. @53 degrees North that's amazing. I love looking at google maps street view and you'd be surprised how many places you never see, little villages dotted all over the Island. Keep off the boring motorways, you see so much more.

Thanks for the great vids. I may start doing more videos myself soon up here in Wicklow. When i was in Texas , where I am from originally, and most of the other states, typical summer biking was in 30-40* weather. I didn't mind it until I had to stop...I kinda miss it.

I prefer the UK or Ireland then all America and south. I had friends in Brazil that had friends that got a lost bullet in the head just by going out to buy bread. And America is becoming a gang zone war, you would be driving and get a lost bullet. I still prefer the "top" of the planet, for me, I will never be going down there ( America, Mexico, Brazil, Africa, Islam and etc). There is only half planet to me...

For the day to day, in Dublin, is it doable, to commute by bike? Or the rain is too violent? Cheers! ( Ill be working there a few months).

Theory test, learners permit, IBT, practical test. Not that difficult, except the IBT's extortionate cost.

Good videos, very helpful. However...the speed limit in Ireland is 120 km/h....so....doing 160+ @6:06 ain't clever! Even less so in lashing rain. Setting a particularly bad example to new/younger riders who clearly will watch your videos and be influenced by them.

can u get a2 dirtbike when your 16 and is it different for a dirtbike or what if u want to change the wheels to supermoto so like for dirtbikes what lessons would u take is there any near tipperary?

I agree about the late 70's early 80's as regards music at least. I was 20 in 1979. Not so sure about motorbikes back then though. I love the modern tech of the present day bikes, helmets and gear. Heated grips, abs, built in sat nav and bluetooth helmets. Its a lot safer and more comfortable to ride in bad conditions these days. I became a garda biker in 86 and my first personal bike in 1990. The gear was useless and you suffered in bad weather. Even in 2000 when I bought a new Suzuki Bandit 600 the gear was still not up to much and rider aids were unheard of so its a lot better now.

I am very bad at selling stuff hence why I now have 6 motorbikes and 10 4 wheeled vehicles - 9 classics and my everyday Landcruiser. I did sell my 2015 Ducati Monster and bought the new model in 2021 and last year traded in my 2017 Triumph T120 for a new Ducati Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss. Although it broke my heart to part with my T120 but I also have a 2016 Thruxton R so not too bad. Have to have at least one Triumph in my collection.
