The problem is not enough FREE ENTERPRISE. With competition for quality and price left up to the consumer it creates competition amongst producers to supply a better product at a better price! We choose. Problem is that cheap imported crap is being sold all made in the same place with different names and prices....same crap.

When im labeling my bottles i just round up ABV to the nearest integer. Too many variables with specific gravity to be certain, and slightly overestimating is better than slightly underestimating alcohol content.

I have never heard of a "malt-based" hard seltzer.

Maybe it might insult the vanilla snobs, but I just take whole beans and vodka, and blend it in my Vitamix. It brews almost instantly, but the flavor gets better after a few months. Then, I pour it through a fine steel filter and dehydrate the remains to use in sugar.

FWIW, I believe that D9 thc is basically a similar substance to K2, synthetic weed. I tried some confections when visiting MO, not realizing it wasnt "real" and did NOT like the feeling at all!

There is way too much elitism around not using breadyeast. Homebrew yeasts are a very recent invention relatively speaking. For the vast majority of history, even up to only a few decades ago, bread yeast was the norm in home brew, or even just wild yeast. Sure there are advantages to purpose bred yeasts, but especially for a lower alcohol beverage (sub 10%) bread yeast can do the job well enough. If i gave you a bottle of my bread yeast brewed beer, you most likely wouldn't be able to guess it was made with a bread yeast. I tend to save the purpose bred yeasts for when I'm trying to brew some specific flavor profile, or am aiming for a higher ABV.

Really appreciate this video, because a lot of channels, directions, online posts, etc are saying that it’s fine and can just be scooped away. And when you have that many sources saying it’s fine you do start to question the common sense of not drinking mold. Thanks for making this video
