Also if you aren’t the neatest you can put Vaseline on your fingertips, use a cotton swab to wipe Vaseline off your nails & wipe the nails with rubbing alcohol like in the video. Any nail polish that gets on your skin will come right off. :)

I'm gonna say it cause no one else will it seems. The first set was better... Smoother application and the square suited her well. The 2nd set was very lumpy and the apex was non existent. Aka the cracks the other nail tech wanted to fix. You can't keep doing bandaids on a bandaid. At some point you have to start over.

nail tech here - won't worry guys, it's normal that it takes ages to do your own nail set. There are 34987380470344378 things that can go wrong, and it's not only about aesthetics but also SAFETY. So take time, try to find some courses that are legit, and don't rush anything. It's better to do something simple than to rush doing 5 cm stilettos without safety. and then taking them off because turned out you have allergies now.
