Welcome to our channel!
This is a new project... making videos to accompany our blog (www.peregrinology.com), but in time we hope to expand it to a proper vlog and make videos about our travels, our eats, and anything else we think of....
We primarily want to make videos for two reasons: 1) for us as a family; so that we can look back on our lives now in years to come, and 2) so that our family and friends can see what we're up to, and see Hugo grow up (more often than they will in person); it's primarily a personal thing, but you may also like them - which would be very cool!

We visited Iran in February 2019, and travelled with our guide Mohsen. He was awesome, and him and Hugo got on really well. Serra Verde Express - Picturesque train journey through the Atlantic Forest in Brazil!

The Serra Verde Express is the remaining part of an old train route between Curitiba and Parangua Port on the coast. Construction started in 1880 and - to everyone's amazement, especially some Europeans who said it couldn't be built - finished 5 years later. There are very few passenger trains in Brazil, so this one is a bit special, and surely the prettiest, winding its way through the Atlanti...
Amazing trip to Iguazu Falls (Argentinian side)!

We visited Iguazu Falls (Argentina) in January 2019... The views and wildlife were amazing! We didn't get to do all the trails as it was too far for Hugo to walk (they're all around 2km each) and you aren't allowed to carry kids on your shoulders), but we will definitely come back here and experience all the bits we didn't get to do this time!

In November 2018, we visited the easternmost point of Hokkaido, Japan... It was rainy, cold, and very very windy the day we were there, so we didn't get the views you can apparently get on a nice clear day, but we did get a feel for how bleak, stormy, and bracing this part of Japan can be!! Japan Street Food Tour - Nishiki Market, Kyoto

We visited Nishiki Market in Kyoto - also known as "Kyoto's Kitchen"... Delicious street food experience, and some really unusual foods on offer! We tried sparrow, quail's egg stuffed into the head of an octopus, spicy cod roe ice-cream, salted fried fish (with roe sack!), and much, much more! Return to the Water...

Once the boat repairs were completed, it was time to return to the water. The crane movements were quite something to watch, so I decided to do a time-lapse of Rose Rambler of Devon being lifted off the blocks, where we had been for a week, and craned back into the water.

Not to sound like a pushy mum, but he has 3 (Spanish, English, and German)... So far most of his speech is Spanish, though he understands the other two. He is Spanish after all though, I suppose!!
