If you have stock ball joints, definitely look there! I've been happy with Teraflex and appreciate that I can snug it up, I'm sure there are other ones that work well.

If your just gonna go to the mall or easy trails probably not a big deal,but you have no upgrades on that jeep that can handle 40s on medium to hard trails.

Best money spent is a PSC hydro assist with the big bore box and pump. Along with fresh tie rod ends ball joints and bushings.

Your truck looks bad ass and nothing wrong with taking a methodical process based on one's needs and wants. I run 37's re-geared complete lift with all the do- hickeys yada yada...I have the 40's itch and know it can pretty much turn into a money pit real quick. Just like any other "hobby" for how I use it, it's good for now ( yeah right) 🤪

Running 40s on my 2018 JLUR both axles trussed, C gussets and RCVs. For extra clearance I would suggest removing the bottom piece of your fenders they are two pieced fenders. This will remove its structural support . You can get the American Adventure lab fender support kit and some aftermarket DRLs. Removing the bottom half adds around 3 inches of clearance.

Aesthetically, it's badass. Structurally, my concern is the steering. Are those 140ish lbs on each corner going to adversely affect the entire steering ecosystem? My guess is the 38s have already stressed the synergy stuff, and the 40s will only exacerbate worn components. I'm definitely going to be following along! Be my guinea pig!!

damn i got mine in black the first week. thank you for making mine for my 155" GMC Sierra. out of the top 5 manufacturers, your the first to get it right. i've recommended your rig to everyone i know, off-roaders, rv'ers, tow truckers, mechanics, SAR and several youtubers i follow. while i still prefer my SpeedSnake inline inflater i've been making for the last 35 years for it's convenience of looping around my vehicle once as opposed to doing one side, then another as well as using my 4 tires to "jumpflate" a friend when i don't have my tank or compressor, of all the manufacturers and even my own Y builds, your minimalist build is the sh!t! it's high and tight, lean and clean. i'd love to build them, already all but selling them and showing off my rig and used it 4 times in teh last couple months on other people's rigs that needed a plug. also works great to check and top off all 4 tires on both my RV and flatbed trailers before i head out. i really enjoied working with you early on. your customer service is A+. The Speedflate Basic is the only 4 tire rig i recommend. be thankful i'm a fanboy, saves you a ton in advertising. 😎
