Todd Helbing is literally the showrunner who took over for Flash Season 4 and 5 when Kreisberg got fired from Flash, and then he left Flash because he got the job to showrun Superman and Lois. Which originally was going to be a direct spin off and be set in the Arrowverse. It doesn't actually make sense, Clark was brought back to earth Prime he wasn't a paragon so he shouldn't have been confused when at the end of Crisis Lois calls Clarks and tells them that there is trouble with the boys. Originally Clark was supposed to have missed out on his children growing up. But I think they realized that they made a mistake that didn't make sense unless Clark had been a paragon. And the pandemic made it clear that it would be impossible for them to do crossovers like they used to. So it became easier for them to just remove any hints they shot showing Supergirl, and changed it so Diggle never directly referred to Oliver because they were not 100% sure if they wanted to find a way to tie it in. Until it became clear that the arrowverse was winding down. And season 2 directly commits to it being a different Earth. But not only does the show have writers and directors who have written and worked on various Arrowverse shows. A good chunk of the crew who worked on all of the Arrowverse shows also worked on Smallville. Oh and on top of that Cavanagh and Ramsey have directed several episodes. Makes sense why you would get Todd to run the show when he and is brother Aaron wrote the script for Crisis on Earth X. And with few others were in charge of the best Justice League live action movie that came out in 2016. And they did it for somewhere between 20 to 30 million dollars. While WB spent around 300 million dollars on a subpar movie and then had to spend another 70-90 million to do the Snyder Cut.

While I don't disagree with Lois that Jordan isn't Clark, like it or not, the reality is that Jordan is now Earth's champion. His dad is gone and Lex Luthor isn't and as much as I'm sure both Jonathan and Lois don't want Jordan to endanger himself after losing Clark, I'm sure Jordan isn't just going to sit back and let Lex threaten their family which is now vulnerable because Lex knows that Superman isn't there to protect Lois anymore. Besides even though we know that Clark will come back, I doubt it'll be right away and Jordan is the only one in their family who's powerful enough to have the best chance of protecting their family in Clark's absence. Lois may not like it, but Jordan is the only 1 who has the power to fight against the threats that Superman used to protect the world from and that's the unfortunate, but harsh reality of their situation.

That's true that she can't keep yelling at him. But also Jordan tends to get a swelled head when it comes to his powers anyway. Even before the fight with doomsday, they stopped him from using his powers because he let the fame get to his head. So I get why she's yelling at him. If he goes in half cocked, whether that's with arrogance or grief, he's going to get killed or worse.
Yeah, they wrote her mother's role poorly, I noticed it from the start.. weird because she's supposed to be smart, and supposed to be constantly learning, especially how to be the best mother to the so special sons, I would presume.. that what I did, read a lot of Psychology stuff and took courses about raising children, when I gave birth to my son. So I see all her stupid tryings and failings. It's just poor wiring in this case.. everything else I love about this snow..
I just finished season 3. They were able to do what Smallville and Batman vs Superman couldn’t. They made Doomsday look awesome and the fight is epic!! Can’t wait for the season 4 premiere.

I absolutely love this show and it is sad to see it end but i feel it is better for this show to end on a high note and be remembered as a complete and brilliant experience than it constantly shift in quality and slowly go downhill as it is dragged on like previous CW shows. Just glad we had this amazing show.

This show is being pulled for the Superman in 2025. If the movie bombs that is on the producers, writers and director. Superman & Lois deserve their own shot on the silver screen because this looks far more exciting than the movie that is being shot in Cleveland.
Jordan should have fired a shot of heat vision right into Lex's face and called it a day. Lex obviously has no problem with going after the family in Clark's absence. Pro tip: it's not "moral" to wait for a murderer to strike again before you do something about them. It's stupidity and it's the entire reason that Lex got out of jail and seized the stuff Intergang stole from the DoD, which he used to create Doomsday and kill Superman. Lois will probably feel crushed by guilt because she insisted on clearing Lex.
We know that Superman, Lois, Jonathan, Jordan, and Lex are the only series regulars appearing in all 10 episodes of the final season while everyone else is recurring. I'm betting that Superman dies early in the season premiere and we won't see him until either the season premiere's end or at some point in the second episode.
I hope they adapt this iconic story of "the death of superman" and then the reign of the Supermans in a good way, since the last time they did it in live action it was poorly executed but animated, not to mention they were GOD 💙👌

Jordan has to be the protector of the family, obviously. The problem is that he still doesn't think too much when he acts as a hero and could put himself or the rest in risk. They have to trust him more, but he also has to improve his way to act.
All I want for this final season is for Johnathan to finally have a good storyline. I know I have asked for him to get his powers but come on having three supers fight against Doomsday and Lex Luthor would be awesome.

This is awesome. Like, I love how they are just coming straight out with it, like, Clark is dead lol. They aren't hiding it. So, it's cool to see Lex actually feel like a villain. He actually is coming off as a menacing figure. And that's cool as hell. And it's cool that Jordan is coming off as he's in way over his head and will try to take on Doomsday on his own. Like, it makes sense he would. I'm really more curious how Jordan and his encounter with Lex will end. Because Lex isn't afraid of him. So, it's got me really intrigued how that's gonna go.
We will hopefully be able to see Jonathan grieving his father Clark's death and hopefully Jonathan's girlfriend Candice will be there with Jonathan to hug him and kiss him to comfort him
But when Clark comes back cuz he will they’ll have to explain how Clark is still alive if they go that route. I think Lois and the boys as well as General Lane,Kyle and Lana will lie cuz they still have to keep his secret and do it long enough for him to be revived somehow and make a return. John Henry will probably fly him close to the sun and allow it’s rays to bring him back

Jonathan will never get powers lol, it's kind of weird they gave the powers to an original character but to me it's not a big deal, Jordan is similar to the comics Jonathan Kent in many ways so i think it's fine, but they literally had Jonathan go through a whole arc about how he needs to accept that he doesn't need powers to help people, that's his arc, giving him powers now goes against everything he learned and makes that arc pointless
It doesn't look ridiculous, it's a reference to a Superman comic that originally used that as his first suit.

Another Jordan and Lois fight when will she learn that she can’t yell at Jordan every time he screws up and she sure as heck can’t say to him he is not his father when his Dad just died and he himself is grieving what is WRONG WITH HER ?!?!?!? what she needs to do is talk to him and try to understand him just like Martha did with Clark she is constantly failing at that like or not the world will need Superboy to protect them since Superman is gone. Plus with Clark gone it is now Jordan’s responsibility to protect Lois and Jonathan especially since Lex is still after her and Jordan is Lois’s last stand of defense I understand that Lois is hurting but it is not ok for her to take it out on the boys I bet after she says to Jordan he is not his father Lois will realize she crossed the line and then try to apologize to him but he storms off before she tries to and then apologizes to Jordan later
That's true that she can't keep yelling at him. But also Jordan tends to get a swelled head when it comes to his powers anyway. Even before the fight with doomsday, they stopped him from using his powers because he let the fame get to his head. So I get why she's yelling at him. If he goes in half cocked, whether that's with arrogance or grief, he's going to get killed or worse.

Yeah, they wrote her mother's role poorly, I noticed it from the start.. weird because she's supposed to be smart, and supposed to be constantly learning, especially how to be the best mother to the so special sons, I would presume.. that what I did, read a lot of Psychology stuff and took courses about raising children, when I gave birth to my son. So I see all her stupid tryings and failings. It's just poor wiring in this case.. everything else I love about this snow..

well it isnt really lower budget as they cut down on episode allow each episode to have it old remaining budget PER episode

I just finished season 3. They were able to do what Smallville and Batman vs Superman couldn’t. They made Doomsday look awesome and the fight is epic!! Can’t wait for the season 4 premiere.

I absolutely love this show and it is sad to see it end but i feel it is better for this show to end on a high note and be remembered as a complete and brilliant experience than it constantly shift in quality and slowly go downhill as it is dragged on like previous CW shows. Just glad we had this amazing show.
Having a whole season about the aftermath of Superman's death just feels so right. It's a major event and I'm glad we're getting an adaptation that takes its time.

Jordan should have fired a shot of heat vision right into Lex's face and called it a day. Lex obviously has no problem with going after the family in Clark's absence. Pro tip: it's not "moral" to wait for a murderer to strike again before you do something about them. It's stupidity and it's the entire reason that Lex got out of jail and seized the stuff Intergang stole from the DoD, which he used to create Doomsday and kill Superman. Lois will probably feel crushed by guilt because she insisted on clearing Lex.

I'm betting that Superman dies early in the season premiere and we won't see him until either the season premiere's end or at some point in the second episode.
I hope they adapt this iconic story of "the death of superman" and then the reign of the Supermans in a good way, since the last time they did it in live action it was poorly executed but animated, not to mention they were GOD 💙👌

Gotta say i still prefer Cavill as Superman. That said, Hoechlin did a pretty good job. The entire family dynamic of this show is well done.

This show started during the pandemic and it had. No. Right. Being as good as it is. I’m pretty pissed they are ending it after a shortened 4th season. This had the potential to be the greatest small-screen Superman ever for years to come still.

Jordan has to be the protector of the family, obviously. The problem is that he still doesn't think too much when he acts as a hero and could put himself or the rest in risk. They have to trust him more, but he also has to improve his way to act.

Why is everyone telling Jordan he can't do anything? He's got superpowers. I understand Lois, she doesn't want to lose both her husband and son ... but Jordon should be allowed to try. He's not Clark but he's grown stronger through all the challenges he's faced. He's going to be Earth's one champion if his father isn't reborn as he is in comics. Luther needs to die.

This is awesome. Like, I love how they are just coming straight out with it, like, Clark is dead lol. They aren't hiding it. So, it's cool to see Lex actually feel like a villain. He actually is coming off as a menacing figure. And that's cool as hell. And it's cool that Jordan is coming off as he's in way over his head and will try to take on Doomsday on his own. Like, it makes sense he would. I'm really more curious how Jordan and his encounter with Lex will end. Because Lex isn't afraid of him. So, it's got me really intrigued how that's gonna go.
We will hopefully be able to see Jonathan grieving his father Clark's death and hopefully Jonathan's girlfriend Candice will be there with Jonathan to hug him and kiss him to comfort him
But when Clark comes back cuz he will they’ll have to explain how Clark is still alive if they go that route. I think Lois and the boys as well as General Lane,Kyle and Lana will lie cuz they still have to keep his secret and do it long enough for him to be revived somehow and make a return. John Henry will probably fly him close to the sun and allow it’s rays to bring him back
And hopefully Sarah will be there with Jordan to comfort him and they get back together
Hold on in the season 3 when Jordan apologized to Sarah she accepted it but they both agreed that shouldn't remain friends anymore
