I love how freaking annoyed Diabellestar looks throughout the entire fight with the Goblin Riders. It's just screams "I am seriously sick of fighting these losers"
Konami’s getting clever. They know how much we eat up lore cards so they’re releasing it much slower than the other lore archetypes.
Also, kudos to Emony for swallowing their pride about the goblin interaction language.
I cant wait to see what the Police/Enforcement archetype that created the WANTED poster are like. I really love that dinamic in lore stories, like S-Force.
To be honest, having one name then changing it last minute to screw up people is definitely something I expect from goblins
You know, while the Goblin Bikers might not have any real-life lore, I believe they might be inspired by the goblins and worgs of D&D. Worgs, otherwise spelled as Wargs, are wolf like creatures that are typically used by goblins as mounts. What's more, worgs draw direct inspiration from Middle-earth's Wargs, which were ridden by orcs which could explain the pig like features the Biker's mounts might have besides the obvious pun.
re: novelty - tmk it's one of if not the only source of cards that snatch material off of *enemy* xyz as well, which is a whole new style of anti-meta options (die purrley die, etc)

This diabellstar lore feels like a tales of game
The goblin xyz monsters would probably work really well with the card " spirit converter" seeing as it restocks xyz materials
I’ve been playing Wind up goblin rider is pretty good spamming so many rank 3 I have the goo in monster with lancer Draco and cicada and whatever level 3 I make with the trap
Machspeed says that it can't be summoned after resolving the effect, not that the effect can't be activated. Based on how it reads, it can infinitely chain to itself to straight up devour all xyz material on the field, but even if you activate two copies of the card, only 1 will be summoned.
Regarding the new Goblin Rider Card that featured Diabellestarr and after I saw the one that featured her wanted poster, could her storyline be more like Ragna The Bloodegde's from Blazblue? You know being the good person who thanks to the conspiratorial actions of the upper elite and the government has to be the bad guy to keep innocents safe/getting revenge for what happened to them when they were younger, and is essentially trying to keep the apocalypse from happening for a second time.
Similarities; both are hunting down dangerous Creatures/Objects, the Snake-Eye monsters for her, and the Kilns/Cauldrons(*) for Ragna, both of them have crappy wanted posters, both have an edgy name (Ragnarok, Diabellestarr (Diablo, Diabolical)), both have an edgy title or 2 (Ragna The Bloodege/The Grim Reaper, Diabellestarr The Dark/Black Witch), both have large curved swords that turn into scythes (Ragna's is curved towards the end so it counts), both are missing at least a piece of their body (both of Ragna's original arms are gone, and judging from that half-mask on the right side of her face Diabellestarr is heavily scarred and missing an eye), they both wear coats that have a blood-red color (the inside of Diabllestarr's coat is red), both wear belts on the outside of their coats (It's hard to tell on the card, but looking at the official artwork shows that Diabellestarr does as well), and both have white hair (with Diabelle's being more shown in the new Goblin Rider Spell) With Diabelle's having green at the tips, a sign of her true nature perhaps as green is a color associated with those that are good.
(*) For those that don't know, in Blazblue the Kilns/Cauldrons were used to smelt the souls of tens of thousands of people to create what are known as Murakumo Units, which are metallic beings that are living breathing weapons, the Snake-Eye monsters being the Yu-Gi-Oh equivalent for that storyline
Acid -Goblin- Golem is a great tech pick and could be the focus of a gimmick deck, more than just mentioning it at the end!

This almost feels like it’s the Zexal version of Blackwings
seems like they are based on biker delinquent gang's that use worgs from d&d. it's another type of goblins that use worgs to ride and attack players in the game. the look from the gabonga is definitely a delinquent hair cut from the 80s to the 90s. still i'm glad i can play goblins again in yugioh.

Now after hearing your lore analysis I am more convinced, that Diabellstar and the World around her ist based of the Blazblue Videogames.
Her wanted poster looks noticable similar to the one of Ragna the Bloodedge. The distant between some sort of ancient ruins and a full industrial city is also there.
And for the Goblin Riders (I will not call them Bikers forget that) the amount of bounty hunters ragna hat to face was similar high.
But now for a thing I thought about the Goblin Riders and her real life referenz.
Since Diabellstar ist named after a Deliquent from the Wild West (correct me if that is wrong in some way), maybe the Goblin Riders are based of a group of bandits.

I’m glad we haven’t gotten into a giant world threatening thing yet and are just going slow right now. Albaz was super cool but doing it so fast just right after would be crazy same with Visas which was a manwha as a Yugioh archetype with how rushed to get to action it felt

Goblin Riders was a fan translation - people often think they change it, but archetypes are always given a fan translation at first.
