Thank you for this! I still haven't found a concealer I like. There are several you mentioned that I haven't tried yet, crossing my fingers!
I know that feeling. I hope there's one on this list that meets your skin type and needs. Wishing you luck!
Thank you. I'm having an awful time with my makeup as my skin is changing with menopause.
I get it! Hopefully this helps you find the concealer for how your skin is right now, and come back to it when your skin changes again in 6-8 months :)
I have found the holy grail combo for dry, mature under eyes: Laura Geller corrector, Haus Labs concealer, and a TINY bit of Givenchy Prism Libre powder applied with a small, damp sponge. Things have never looked better! I blend in corrector and concealer with the Angie Hot and Flashy concealer brush. Sooooo good!
I love that you shared this, thanks Stephanie!
Haven’t found one that works yet but I did get a sample of the makeup by Mario in more of a peachy tone as I have dark in the inner corners. I may pick that one up
Did that one work for you? Do you have oily skin or dry skin?
Great breakdown!! Thanks for sharing!
You're so welcome!
Hey Jodi! I know this video took a large amount of time and I appreciate it so much. I think we all do. I’ve never paid a high price for concealers as I only use it to brighten the inner corners of my eyes. My undereye skin is so light that I just use my foundation, when I actually wear it. In the summer the DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen works fine under my eye. I was using Catrice but right now I’m trying Essence Keep me Covered. It’s a creamy medium coverage and seems to be okay so far. You know I don’t like anything matte or full coverage. I may try the Dior at some point but I’m going to rewatch the video. Thanks for all you do for this community! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.
Hi Lisa. Thank you so much. I'm glad you found the video helpful, I enjoyed putting it together. Concealers can be overwhelming LOL. I hope to get to point where I can use foundation under my eyes and the darker circles aren't there! I hope you have a fantastic week!
Thank you for doing this video, Jodi! I’m sure it is difficult to try all of these brands. I have a problem finding one I like. I am 67 years old and have creases, but also I wear bifocal eyeglasses and they kind of magnify my creases. My skin under my eyes is more on the dry side. Right now I’m using the Estée Lauder Futurist Brightening Concealer, but I find powders do really dry my under eyes more. I will take your advice and try the Gucci Crease Proof Hydrating concealer. Thanks for your hard work, Jodi, always appreciated!🙋♀️😊💕🇨🇦
Hi Brenda! You're so welcome, it was fun to do. You might like the way the Gucci wears, and you may not need to set it with powder. I find the formula doesn't wear like the serum concealers, which need powder to last without 'sliding'. Good luck, I'd love to know how it works for you!
I truly appreciate all your videos. You keep it simple and to the point. I hope you reach over 100,000 subscribers 🌸
Thank you very much. It means a lot that you enjoy spending your time here. Here's to 100,000!
I have just watched this video while applying my own make up today. It is very well done very well researched and a godsend. I plan to rewatch it once I am able to give it my full attention. I just purchased a new concealer from Clarence that they used to have and then they brought it back. It is called instant concealer. I don’t use it under the eyes. What I do is I use it instead of foundation as it is a full coverage concealer so well spread out redness really really well and does not show any wrinkles or at least not very many. I just think your videos are always so informative and spot on thank you very much.
Thank you for letting me join you while you put on your makeup, I love that! I haven't tried the Clarence concealer before, thanks for sharing! I'm glad you like the content, THANK YOU for being a subscriber!
@@JodiManneshi there the brand is supposedly to be Clarins. Talk to text not the most accurate 😮
I just bought the Trish McEvoy corrector today. I don’t ever concealer anymore. I’ll see how it stacks up to Sigma Duo in light / medium
I love that showdown, I'd love to know which one you prefer!
Have you tried Huda Beauty FauxFilter Matte Buildable Coverage Waterproof Concealer? It’s very pigmented, very thin consistency, major coverage and bulletproof. I have very dark circles, mature skin and this doesn’t settle in fine lines. once it dries it doesn’t move. I use CT color corrector and a setting spray underneath and then again over the concealer. Lol. I can’t use any setting powders, they accentuate my fine lines and don’t work as well as a setting spray. For some reason setting powders even the best out there make me look like I have bags under my eyes when thankfully I don’t. Thank you 🌸
Thank you so much for sharing how well the Huda concealer works (and how you apply it)! I haven't tried it but the way you describe it, it's the type of coverage I look for. I'm starting to move from setting powders and lean into setting spray under my eyes as they show more signs of aging.
I have the nyx concealer it's a good lightweight finish and gives a great coverage for my normal to oily skin I'm 64
Love this! Thanks for sharing so others can see what's working.
Great videos❤
Thank you, glad you like the content!
Your hair looks so pretty today.
Thank you.
Great video
Thanks, Diane!
Dry under eye - many concealers set with powder (prism libre) look like elephant skin. I’m currently using Tower 28.
How is the Tower 28 working for you? I haven't tried it.
@@JodiMannes So far Tower 28 is my favorite. It more like a serum, similar to L’Oréal True Nude Serum foundation.
Concealers are so personal and depend on the individual. I tried both the Haus Labs and ND and those creased immediately and looked horrible on my under eyes. On others they look flawless. The only concealer I have really loved is Catrice True Skin…. It costs $10.00 on Amazon and it has been a game changer for me. Thank you so much for this video.
Thanks for sharing your golden find! I haven't tried the Catrice True Skin, but I've added it to my cart. I love a great concealer, and that price is awesome!
@@JodiMannes I hope you enjoy it as much as I do....Take care and thank you again for the video 🙂
Essence is a good drugstore concealer
I have dry under eyes 👀
Agree! Thanks for sharing.
Have you tried the Tarte Creamy?! That's what I've read that mature women should use!!
Hi Natalie. I did try that one and it was really cakey on my under-eye area. Everyone's different so it might work great for others.
@@JodiMannes Thank you!!! Natalie
Have you tried Lancôme concealer?
Hi, I have tried it. It seemed to make my under eye wrinkles look worse. Have you tried it? What are your thoughts?
What about Tower 28?
I've going to purchase it and give it a try!
I have tried so so so so many and L.A. Girls is the only one I like. I tried high end and drug store. I always go back to L.A. Girls it's only $5.49 at Ulta.
Love a good find, thanks for sharing!
