Rx-C52 is great sound for size, Always liked it but I had Red Akai PJ-35 in late 80s which I still have boxed, I managed to get myself A Red RX-C52 which is lovely. The C60 i had souned Great too and regret selling that now but wasnt a model i ever remembered. Nice Collection mate and all working 👍
I Still have the rx-C52 although branded as National(not Panasonic). Bought by my uncle from the middle east in the 70's new and brought to Kerala, India. Been in the family since then. Over engineered and way complicated internals. But she still lives on as my laptops amplifier :). Glad to see your piece in such immaculate condition. Kudos.
Thank you, friend! As I was young, I could not afford buying any of them. I bought me my first mono Panasonic back in 1982, traveling to Africa. I started to collect a little, end of 90s. Till today I have some pieces, which are really beautiful and unique. I play with these "toys" from time to time, remembering great 80s and this is a never-ending story, because you always find some attractive pieces in web, that you cannot help, but buying. C52 is a very attractive looking model, especially the speakers and front panel.
@@iljalevol Yes, C52 is a very nicely attractive looking model in comparison with other National Panasonic models. What it only lacked was the graphic equalisers.
The common part for these 3 units is the extremely full range speaker.Although is 2 way speakers the high frequencies are mostly produced by the 10cm woofer.EAS 10P239S is the part number.The tweeters are for cosmetic roles. I own the RX C45F bought in 1984 when I was a student.The unit still works and produces great sound!!!!!
I have all of these boomboxes as well. The RX-C60 sounds the best in my opinion, but the RX-C52 has the nicest tape deck. I live in the States, but I also have the L-version of the C52 and C60 that has longwave and shortwave. Just don't have that in a C45. Have you ever had an RX-C50? Those are nice miniboxes as well.
I haven’t had any RX-C 50, so I don’t know it’s sound. I agree about the C 52 design, it’s nice! The Panasonic RX C60, which I newly bought in your country (I live in Europe) has got the best balance of bass and treble of all these models. To listen to it - is just pure pleasure!
