That “Setting Sail” Jam leading into Ship if Fools is one of my favorite GD moments. Just them fucking around onstage, and spontaneously play a 4 minute jam so pretty and soothing it could turn around a bad trip
1974 Icon 🗿second steamy, spacey, mythic Miami 🦩 🍊 🐊 night… 📓 Unique Let It Rock, Seastones debut (aka Phil & Ned, Ned & Phil, or Warp 10), Ned sits in 2nd set- Fabulous 👏
I remember David Gans playing some highlights from this show on one of the first Grateful Dead Hour shows that I heard, way back in 88 or 89, I guess it must have been. I remember he played Let It Rock, I think a few other songs, and then most of the second half of the show was taken by the Dark Star, which he said he had to fade out, because of time restrictions. FOr some reason, though, I never got around to hearing the rest of the show.
Loving 74 lately. This show is excellent, thanks!
Nice show. Thx. Didn't realize they only played Let it Rock one time. Thought i knew everything about the boys😂😂. Thx for the show.
Great quality, thanks!
This could be my desert island show. Every song is done so well. Jerry throws in a little Sugarfoot Rag on Cumberland. Thank you for sharing.

Still have this show on cassette. One of my favorites.
You're the best man, hope this becomes your day job;)
Lol thanks Halo! If only I didn't need actual money it could be 😎

Gans... LOL...Nice!!!! Remember him
Yep. Had that tape of the dead head hour too. All I had from here for years too
Thanks for sharing ✌️☮️🇳🇿🍻
I would love to hear from someone who was there as to how the acoustics were in that place.
74' Lay Me Down....🤗📵🚮⚡🕉🎶
Did they play after the show? you know how big jai alai was in 74. I'm surprised the people of Miami let the fronton close for a concert. 🤣🤣🤣
Is it just me or...
Does "Let it rock"
sound like
"Johnny be good"😅
