But as of now I have 0 knowledge and I am 39 yrs of age with 16 yrs experience in general insurance as an advisor

You can as CIMA provides at least 5 exemptions for CMA US qualified . If you are currently under employment after CMA US you can also consult your employer if it helps in getting increment or promotion. At the end of the day you ROI should be good for a course. ACCA will definitely help turnaround your career post CMA US.

Banks usually want to sell their products and that's what they hire RMs for. A CWM can fit into that role as well, yes. But your goal is to get into proper wealth management services, you can choose ignore these profiles.
