What a nice looking setup up! I would have got 19 on the front and 35% .would not be a problem. If you wanted to use up the tires you could move the front wheel to the back and use original factory wheel on the front! A wild idea for you!

In references to how much I lower the car is maybe to inches . When I installed the KW Coilovers the car was able to be floored if I wanted to with no problem. The car is no longer a luxury or sporty ride. The car rides like an exotic race car. Example when you drive on the KW springs in Mexico over 90 miles an hour it feels like 60. When you are a 130 or 150 it feels like 90 the car hugs the road. KW really know what they are doing the car don’t lift no matter how hard you bet up on it. It’s going to asked for more and you will get the ride of your life with the new set up. The car is only lowered about two inches

Hi get the 1LT the 2LT & 3LT has only option it doesn’t give you more horse power. I have a 1LT and my car never scarp the ground . It has great clearance. The only option I added when I built the car was 1 option high performance Exhaust. And then changed it to Fabspeed 🤦🏾♂️. Be careful with upgrades because there are lots of after market parts cheaper that you can ad to the C8
Are you going to do any upgrades to the motor? a lot of people are doing the twin turbos. I think I'm going to do the twin turbo too. On my C7 I had a Vortec Supercharger..talking about fun :)
I’m actually waiting until they release a tune for the car . I’m not going to turbo my C8 ! I’m going to just new header and sport cats. Also a custom exhaust . Once a tune comes out the car is going to be ever more faster . I will get a Z06 if the car isn’t fast enough for me. The C8 engine trans clutch can only take like 600hp

This will be my fourth vet and everyone of them I've had you can lower with the factory suspension. Is there anyway you could post a picture of the stock shocks that you took off your C8?
The shop have disassemble the stock shocks and took some parts from the stock shocks and transfer to my new Coilovers shocks. Give the shop a call who did the work and they will explain to you in detail how they did it. Red garage ph 630-551-8660

Morning JD when I build the car in 2019 I was trying to build the car as Basic as possible because I want to spend money on performance upgrades and after market parts . But after owning the car for #2 years I wish I would have added the camera package because not having the rear view camera and PDI is a must becstse being able to record when you are driving is an amazing feature

There was no lug nuts with the wheels yes they are smaller than stock. The rim shop had them in stock it was a common size I’m really not sure if the exact size but it’s a common size
I'm not trying to be nosey but if you don't mind how much did you pay for the coilovers with labor? If you had to do it again would you get the same package or would you opt for the Z51? This is my dilemma. I can not decide which package to get and if it would be cost effective to just get the Z51 model for the almost roughly $6k extra. I know I want my car lowered. I have been in a car with a z51 package and my KW Coilover where a better choice . The cost and labor is a little higher than factory option but the aftermarket set up was well worth the investment

With the Z51 package coming in right at $6k it would be more to get the Z51 option than to buy the KW coilovers and have them installed. I talked to Red's garage that did yours and they said they would install them for $500 something

What I can say is when or if you upgrade your suspension from stock you will have more Benefits than just lowering the car. My only reason for changing my Suspension was to just lower the car. But boy did I get a surprise after installing the KW Coilover set up. The ride performance is very Aggressive and at high speed the car feels Rocksolid
I am purchasing a 2021 C8. I want to buy the non Z51 package and they are offering the magnetic ride. Do you know if I would be able to lower the C8 with the magnetic ride? Thanks in advance
If you have the Z51 Package on your C8 it bolts in the same slots or you can use the 3m tape that comes with the kit. My car did not have a spoiler nor did it have slots for bolts so mine is on with 3m tape. They make it where you have two option for installation you can select how you want to install the unit
Hey man I sent you these videos when you have time check them out. These are Non Z51 and Z51s being lowered without any aftermarket parts. I'm not saying you don't know what you're talking about but a lot of these shops will tell you certain things just to make money

My bs meter went off when you said you went back to the original tires. C8s have 19s in the front. 245/35zr-19 front, 305/30zr-20 rear to be exact.

If you hadn't lowered it, the other tires should've worked. That said car does look GREAT!. Love the color. Think it's too low though.

did you have to remove the tires to reprogram the sensors when you changed wheels?
When you take the sensor out your stock tires and put them in any after market tires the computer with automatically program them to your computer

I watched Complete Street Performance lower a C8 and they said you can lower the non Z51 and the Z51. Is this true?
That’s is not true ! The The safest way to lore a C8 Corvette is coilovers shocks. I went to #2 well known shops and they told me no way.
Did the lug nuts come with the BD wheels? What is the hex size on the lug nuts? 19mm or 21mm.? Do we need a thin walled lug socket?

With the Z51 package coming in right at $6k it would be more to get the Z51 option than to buy the KW coilovers and have them installed. I talked to Red's garage that did yours and they said they would install them for $500 something

@@PLLuxuryReviews hey but the Z51 package has so many other options with it as well. I'm more interested in just having the car lowered. I hate to spend the $6k because I have to think about other things I'm going to have to spend money on. Were your koilovers installed and all over $6k?
What I can say is when or if you upgrade your suspension from stock you will have more Benefits than just lowering the car. My only reason for changing my Suspension was to just lower the car. But boy did I get a surprise after installing the KW Coilover set up. The ride performance is very Aggressive and at high speed the car feels Rocksolid
I am purchasing a 2021 C8. I want to buy the non Z51 package and they are offering the magnetic ride. Do you know if I would be able to lower the C8 with the magnetic ride?

Yes. Non Z51 mag shocks have the coilovers. Standard base model Non Z51 do now have the coilovers.
Does your spoiler mount with 2 bolts or 4 ?
If you have the Z51 Package on your C8 it bolts in the same slots or you can use the 3m tape that comes with the kit. My car did not have a spoiler nor did it have slots for bolts so mine is on with 3m tape. They make it where you have two option for installation you can select how you want to install the unit

Hey man I sent you these videos when you have time check them out. These are Non Z51 and Z51s being lowered without any aftermarket parts. I'm not saying you don't know what you're talking about but a lot of these shops will tell you certain things just to make money

@@shelbyjones3685 well you where in the same boat as me. I went to 3 shops to find out the corvette can only be lowered with coilover shocks. I’m here on CZcams trying to share my mods as I put them . Can wait to see your C8 once it’s lowered

Thanks for the response, just wondering, run flats are way heavier, you get better performance out of the regular tires but you have to deal with a tire repair kit or a tow, worst case scenario....C8 looking bad ass👊.Do you also feel the ride a little rougher riding on 30s ?
