So what you basically get here is a sandbox game using earth biomes and earth animals sold as a sci-fi game with about nothing but some sandworms spitting acid in a cave unless they changed a lot but what i think i see is
first of all this is unreal engine okay, it doesnt have the label so they make enough to PAY for it ... second , this is as sci-fi as americans are african , third ... this small map mode callet outpost runs MORE OR LESS okay with rtx off at 1080p ... now you buy an rtx card you think : THAT THING HAS THE HARDWARE ACCELERATION TO DO IT but actually when you turn it on it slows down your machine, in this case : rtx + global = 8 fps ; rtx = 12-16 fps , rtx off at 1080p = AROUND 30 fps = playable / doable BUT it has these lagspikes which is something that seems like a buffer gets full then not processed in time i cant describe it any other way , in 2022 the devs were about "BUT THATS UNREAL ENGINE" so they basically said we used a prefab engine but we cant hack it ... but if you have 32gb it will run fine. Mind you this is one of those games that says "minimum req 1080 ti (actually 1060) "recommended 3060rtx ... i have a 3070 right ...)
when i bought it i could play this outpost mode at 4k full
now this is the best i can get out of it AND they switched from (apparently) : add 16gb of ram to "this needs an rtx 4000 series" but the recommended specs on the store page STILL say "3060" ..
so why would everyone outside disneyland get fed with AAA shit ?
i dont know ... maybe they just need to stop being poor and just buy it
or else ...

its one big crock o' shyte and "chatgpt write me a demo" for the gfx using a prefab engine they cant even do right and blame it on your hardware whil you're well ABOVE RECOMMENDED SPECS ....

a shame b/c even if its an earth-biome simulator i liked the sandbox mode just building and actually the missions too even if theres not much to it once you get the hang its rinse and repeat ...
but i bet they made a ton of money after all you dont have to pay unreal UNLESS ... or did that change too like what they wanted to do with unity ?
not that i care anymore i just dont buy shit unless its at least months old and i have seen 5000 reviews by "non official curators" but actual players
