I saw that live! She’s a pens fan who has watched how these games go. I admit I turned off the stream for a minute and turned it back on because I know this team scores in bunches. They miss open opportunities and then tip in ridiculous shots. It’s gonna take a lot of patience but you have to love the mettle of this team and coach and it extends to the fanbase.

Whenever the Caps go up by 2 they immediately stop playing like the game’s already over. Vegas went up by 2 and then won by 7 because they never let up. This has to be the most frustrating thing about being a Caps fan. They’re clearly a talented team that can score a lot but you can NEVER count on them to hold a lead. We ought to learn something from Pittsburgh and just shoot, non-stop, from anywhere on the ice. You never know what sort of deflection you could get.

A hurtful loss for the Caps. Penguins keep shooting, they start going in. The Caps' goals were good ones, Holtby looked great for 2 periods, but Ovetchkin's goal at the start of the 3rd period seemed to change the luck, and Murray started making some fantastic saves.

No, he should do his job - score goals, that's why he was signed and he is the best at his job in NHL in this century. He's not capitan material, but he's a beast at his job. Maybe hockey is the only game that it matters. Never trained hockey just enjyoing watching it. In any other sport you have to be good enough to fit in, not the other way around.
