In the United States and I assume in the UK, the misuse of 911 (or 999 in the UK) for a non-emergency is a misdemeanor. Police should start enforcing this misuse to prevent future waste of police resources.

I was filming an abandoned hotel this morning from the street (not a migrant one)... but the security guard came out and told me I'm not allowed to film... I just told him "don't be silly" and he walked away... thank you for the education, DJ (in the past I would have got nervous, acquiesced, and walked away)
