One of the funniest moments is when Debra is in jail and Robert walks by, then pauses and says "Oh my god. You finally killed Ma" lmao

The writers are real nutcases for coming up with stories and jokes every single episode, the acting is really superb that makes the jokes really funny at times. Best and funniest comedy i ever watch.

Raymond's one of those shows, you can watch it a 100 times and it still makes you laugh, like the Simpsons, such a brilliant sitcom. One of my favourite T.V shows ever!
Me personally I think Robert made that show... To me he was the funniest, everybody else also hilarious themselves... I say Robert was the funniest because his character had so much to go off of.. There was so much you can work with...

@@Bondmanproductions Well, Carrie On 'The King of Queens' was a much better written character, She was strongly opinionated! But Doug, was allowed to keep his balls. But from season 3 on Deborah, was just insufferable, I know it is a sitcom, and it is supposed to be funny! But, the writer's could have toned down on rays incompetence, and Deborah, could have appreciated more that Ray is the breadwinner.

One of my favorite episodes was the one where Marie removed the plastic from her couch...a classic.
Robert is the funniest character in sit com history. Him and Kramer of Seinfeld super close. But IMO Robert is the favorite, there are moments he has me absolutely dying 😂
David Puddy beats Robert. So does Kramer. If you’re looking for mopey then ya he’s the best mopey character.

All of these actors are fantastic. If you have ever watched the bloopers, Ray is always pulling pranks or trying to get the other to break character...one of my favorites is the scene where Marie is going to take Ray's temperature, with a rectal thermometer......or maybe its the one where Ray sees Robert's new girl friend eat a fly...thought I would die at the look on his face....great comedy writing....classic TV.
Man I’ve watched many shows and I loved all of them, but this show helped me get through one of the most difficult times in my life. I was really down in the dumps but this show gave me something to look forward to everyday
I too watched it through the toughest year of my life when I lost my wife, I was literally laughing through my tears..this show and it’s characters are a blessing 💙

You left out the painting the house scene where Robert accidentally sprays paint on Marie. Then Frank says, "That'll need a 2nd coat." That one is priceless!!!!

ELR is the most underrated comedy in history, the Thanksgiving episodes are straight classic, everyone all ways talks about FRIENDS and SEINFELD...I never hear ELR get the same kind of love. How this show flies under the radar like this I'll never know

ELR was soooo popular when it aired, it was honestly the biggest show on TV, but it didn’t get as popular in the streaming world because it wasn’t on Netflix, whereas Friends and Seinfeld were.

I could have had him arrested. And I told my ex about it. He just smiled. Didn't bother him. Once when my ex abused me. Gave me a black eye. Dad in law just smiled, when he saw what had happened. Just see for yourself how the world has changed in only 20 years:
1. in the 90s (and early 2000s): Everybody loves Raymond, Third rock from the Sun, Frasier, According to Jim, The X-files, Twin Peaks, Just shoot me...oh, there were pretty crappy and disgusting ones, but one had a choice.
2. TV shows of today: well...open Netflix and see for yourself. Dark, barren, depression, homosexual propaganda, complete emptiness. And you don't have a choice. There ain't good and simply joyful stuff anymore. It's not even allowed to joke.

I used to fight with my siblings all the time, and as we got older, we held back more and more, so as to not actually hurt each other.
Or at least I did. Eventually I realized they weren't holding back, and stopped. The resulting injuries caused us to stop fighting.
These memorable moments from "Everybody Loves Raymond" were hilarious! Miss that show so much. No other sit-com even compares.

Georgia Engle was an American treasure of tv comedy entertainment. I remember watching her in first run episodes of 'The Mary Tyler Moore' show as 'Georgette Baxter'. Indeed, this show was a complete and total ensemble cast of comic geniuses, but she and Ted Knight, together and separately, made for the most side-splitting performances on this program hands down.

I was just watching the Apartment episode and heard Ray say it is in the lease no kids. I then thought about it and didn't notice but Ray and Debra's kids are never at Robert's apartment. I guess I never thought of that before. Not one time can I remember them there. But Ray really tells off on himself in that episode. He accidentally says breasts but won't let it go. Him and his family doing weird things and Debra's reaction is what makes the show funny to me. I am thankful to have found the whole series on DVD. Because it is one of my four favorite shows. I am also a fan of The Middle, Malcolm in the Middle and Perfect Strangers. I also like Roseanne and Who's the Boss. Funny Mona from Who's the boss plays on Raymond but definitely a different character. The only thing that I don't like about Raymond is 3 of the cast members have died. Frank, Marie and Geoffrey from the show. RIP Doris Roberts, Peter Boyle and Sawyer Sweeten.
I love this family they all may act crazy at times but their love for one another keeps them together. Marie is my favorite character she is one awesome woman. She doesn't take no crap from anyone. She reminds me of my mother
