The Dream Wave for Skimboarding

- Who would have thought that Doheny Beach would have a good wave for skimboarding. @lucasfinkrj and Blair Conklin and many other capitalize on a fleeting sand bar that formed at the mouth of the Doheny River mouth. The bouldery conditions made for many stubbed toes and damaged boards but the risk was well worth the reward. Some riders were catching waves for distances close to a football field in length. Stay tuned for part two of skimboarding Doheny Beach. The sand point disappeared after a few days and became more of a bay. It was fun while it lasted and we are excited to share the few extra special sessions that we had.

Just camped and surfed Doho a few weeks ago just a couple days before the super rain storm made the giant sandbar and turned the water poopy brown. Great footage, and glad to see the waters back to the proper color haha!

Exiles are really nice quality. I miss that hard/glossy feel of my Exile EX0 (I'm riding a Vic Poly now which I also love). That EX0 got me through some rocky conditions in Santa Cruz haha. I finally sold it this year, and someone else is getting use out of it now.

NJ used to have cove(s) at Sandy Hook that resembled this wave exactly. On the border of mush yet still has that PUSH.

How do you go so fast and deep without the board sinking?
You ever try a sail on a skim board: Wind Boarding, look me up on you tube. I am getting too old for wind boarding (not kite boarding, not wind surfing) but have not quit yet. PS your stuff is always great.

They tell me that the "design is too intricate" when I custom order a board with FULL specs on a rounded diamond tail, and then turn around and make you the 'Cuda and now a flat-bottom...what the hell, man??!?!
