+Sahala Suban Mainly fasting Mondays/Thursdays inshallah, and eating natural/wild foods, the closer to Allah's creation the better. Avoid processed stuff ie. bread and processed sugar. Start thinking about what you are putting into your body and even avoid things like genetically modified ingredients (corn/soy) which are in almost everything. Also not eating until you feel completely full but leaving 1/3rd for air and 1/3rd for water. This is all more important than counting calories. More than anything, do what you are doing for the sake of Allah (swt) and consider keeping a healthy mind and body as part of your religious obligation. On the day you not fasting I would also avoid eating multiple meals throughout the day, rather its better to snack and maybe eat one solid meal. Moreover I seem to really benefit from not eating until the afternoon (and just drinking water) on the days I am not fasting. For some people, its better to do this fasting period at night before bed. You have to do a bit of trial and error and figure out what ur body best responds to, but everything I listed here should work well for anyone. I was able to lose major weight while not able to do any exercise because I was preparing for back surgery. And may Allah (swt) make it easy for you.

Brothers and sisters, pls reduce fizzy intake as it has affected me (20) and caused a change in my stomache as it has reduced ability to digest.
Also during iftar -pls refrain from drinking fizzy right away. drink water or this will damage kidneys very much!
    thank you.

I’m naturally a healthy person alhamdulilah and what you said about eating clean for a week and then fast food once to see the difference and its so true. I have a once a month fast food rule and I hate eating it because it causes me to have diarrhoea now. Leading a minimal lifestyle helps to unknowingly follow the Sunnah of the prophet S.A.W. Eating small nutritious meals and barely any snacks but a lot of water is very simple and easy to follow. also makes the sunnah more cheap affordable. For example, red meat is expensive and so is takeout and unneccary snacks. Just save money by following the sunnah. Mashallah the hikmah behind the prophet S.A.W lifestyle
