Jaisaki aapke videos continously dekhe hain ab is type ke faults ko fix karna bahut hi easy ho gaya Hai.
1st step mein main cap. pe supply check karen in respect of fluctuation then check switching at primary winding of transformer with digital multimeter as described by you.
In 2nd step check supply at f.b. winding & it's concerned diode, resistance connected at switching cap. 99% such fault will be fixed.

I have learnt from this video to measure switching in main winding by using multimeter at 600 DC volts range.But why there was one (1) volt, why not zero volt? The video was more informative. thank you so much.
1 shown on the screen is not 1 volt. It means your meter is not able to recognise that high frequency...and this indicates that switching is being done on the winding. If there is no switching, the meter will show 0 in that case.

Sir aap ka fault finding ka way bohot achcha hai, aur explain karne ka ti lajawab hai, aap ke videos dekhne se ab itna confidence aa gaya hai ki koi bhi power supply kar kar sakta hu mai, mujhe pehle se hi power supply topic bohot interesting lagta hai
Sir maine bhi kai martaba dekha hai ki power supply me fluctuations ka karan faulty resistor jo auxiliary vcc supply me laga hota hai wo open ho jaata hai, iska reason abhi tak pata nahi chala hai
