Top 10 Frequently asked question about Me:
1. Am I Japanese or mixed?
I'm not! I have been living in Japan for several years.
2. Where Am I from?
For privacy issues, I prefer to keep my ethnicity, real name, age, address in private.
3. Do I get treatments every day?
No. I balance treatments schedule considering my skin and health condition. For example, once a week.
4. Why "Twix"?
Me and My sister work on creating these contents together. As you know Twix chocolate bar has 2 pieces. So, I'm not the only creating these videos. My sister👩 is behind the camera as Camerasister. So we thought that would be fair If I add my sister's name. Of course, not directly adding her name.
5. Why my Camerasister doesn't show up in the videos?
She prefers to work behind the camera. I hope you will respect her decision.
6. Does my Camerasister also get treatments?
Sometimes she does get professional massage. Mostly, I give her scalp, neck, face, shoulder massages learning from professionals in my videos😅
7. Who replies to the comments?
Me who always appears in the videos.
8. What kind of ASMR channel is this?
This channel is focused on Japanese exclusive head spa, face and head massage, aesthetics, facial and scalp treatments. In our videos, it is always "Soft spoken" in Japanese language with English subtitles. We don't do "Whispering" and "No talking" videos.
9. Are my videos sponsored?
If I get sponsored on my videos, I'll definitely mention about sponsorship in the videos according to CZcams sponsorship terms and conditions.
10. Do all places I visit have good result?
I always do deep research on the the places before I visit. Because, I have responsibility of showing the real result and recommend it to my viewers. I always give my honest opinion about the treatment, massage and environment of the place at the end of each video.
11. Do I have any other social media?
I have Instagram account. You can follow me using this link: www.instagram....
Mostly, I'm active on CZcams. Because, I want to focus on creating better videos. We're working on creating Amazon page, Paypal donations, Patreon page where I can connect even closer with Twixes. They will come out probably on May 🥰

@@Aliyaibs what?
😅you know what? I always ask them to speak to me for video and I personally enjoy that. Usually they don't really talk to customers. Dont worry!
As a cosmetologist student, we are trained to talk to our clients, and ask them about their day and life. It helps us have regualr clientele that return because they feel a personal connection to our services. We try to help and let you vent out all of your stress while youre here, and give you someone to talk to. You can always ask for a non chatty technician! :)
I agree!! I’ve lately been getting chatty massage therapists. This is so strange to me!! I don’t mind with waxing and nail technicians at all, and my aunt is an esthetician so I have almost never seen anyone but her for facials, but for massage? Absolutely not my thing.
I'm not sure why, but Japanese it the best sounding language for asmr.
It really is
omg you're right, I don't know anything about Japanese and it might just be this one speaker and how soothing her voice is, but I feel like the vowel sounds have a really clear quality, not nasal or in the back of the throat, and the consonants are really rhythmic and kind of bouncy, lots of k, t, and s.
so as a japanese speaker (intermediate) i think the reason it sounds pleasant is because phonetically its a very softly spoken language. all the sounds are made at the front of the mouth, not in the throat. There are no gutteral sounds. you may also find that all japanese sounds are a consonant followed by a vowel (with the exception of vowels themselves) giving the language a nice consistency/uniformity. the only exception is the n sound which is a nasal sound but this is also produced in the front of the mouth.
you tend to find more common, less phonetically pleasing accents have more sounds made in the throat and open mouth sounds. Classier accents tend to have sounds produced in the mouth and this makes it sound more refined.
No, it’s Czech and Russian 😁
Maybe because there are a lot of "crisp" sounding consonants in the language 🤔
omg imagine falling asleep and snoring as she’s washing your hair 🤧 100% don’t think i would be able to stay awake

I want to have this done so badly. The only downside is that my hair is super fine and if you shampoo it like that the knots would NEVER come out.
@Dawson Davis it’s not just about getting the stuff done, it’s about the relaxing experience as well. Which is also part of the treatment. The state of ones psych affects the body as much as outer treatment itself. Relaxation is part of the treatment and a huge benefit. So no, not just filler.
Anyone else curious to know what their scalp looks like under the microscope but also would never want anyone else to see it 😂

It’s no wonder the Japanese people live so long. They take care of themselves much better than we do here in America.
They also eat a lot healthier. Their sweets have less sugar than some American breakfasts.
Yup, I wish America would adapt that stuff.
Generalizing America and the people in it is the least helpful. Consider how much a service like this would actually cost in an American Salon. It's already upwards of $125+ for color or highlights, this would be around $250+ and more, with limited service and optionals that cost money.
Most Americans do take care of themselves with the funds they can or try their best to do so. People are usually shocked when they come here because they find Americans more conversational and friendly, also a lot different than portrayed on tv. The Red Solo Cup Phenomenon is an example.
The generalizing bits are what fuel continued strife between people. It's very tiring at a time when most people are more eager to see the world and trade experiences.
@Alyssa Ah yes of course!
@@TheNaexis Yes that’s true, but we just don’t do things with sense. A lot of people do take care of themselves and are good people, but of course; the other half don’t.

As an almost daily migraine sufferer, I need this. I need this NOW.
I have chronic migraine disease and all I could think of is maybe I could send it into remission with a treatment like this! I'm sorry you suffer too.
Change your diet. Migraine are the main causes of a poor diet. Seek a nutritionist immediately. (I suffered too). Now I get a headache a couple of times a year and yes that's just a headache not migraine.
I'm so sorry I don't have migraines but I hope you find something to ease or even stop it
@@Perfeccionista89 Migraine disease and headaches should never be classified together. It's like comparing a sneeze to an epileptic seizure. A healthy diet may help relieve symptoms for many diseases, but migraine disease is not diet dependant. Many people who suffer from migraine disease also have other underlying diseases or disorders that prohibit a "healthy diet". I have two connective tissue diseases, Chiari Malformation I, and POTS. One of my connective tissue diseases caused a spontaneous tear in my left, external carotid artery. Two stents were placed and now I can no longer eat green veggies (my favorite foods). They're high in vitamin K, which is the clotting vitamin. I could have a stroke. I'm also exercise intolerant because of the combination of diseases. It's horrible. I'm thrilled that a change in your diet helped you. Unfortunately, migraine disease is a disease of the brain and brain stem. A diet change most likely will make a person feel better overall, but it will not send the disease into remission.

I don't see any need to be embarrassed as it's natural for he hair to be a little dirty as the dirt and natural oils will help protect the scalp, hair follicles and hair strands by keeping them strong. If hair is washed too often it strips the natural oils out of the hair. Hair is often easier to style when it hasn't been washed for a couple of days as newly washed hair is often too slippery anyway.
also she has wayyy more hair then the “healthy scalp” so it’s obviously gonna be dirtier and harder to clean
My hair is weird, I think it's naturally very oily but idk because I'm not an expert. I can't not wash my hair for more than 2 days because it gets really greasy within 2 days. I'm not even exaggerating, I had a 3 days trip to fly back home from a vacation once and my hair was so greasy that the security guard who told me to take my hat off (the hate to cover the greasy hair) said I don't have to take it off after seeing it. That was only 3 days. Idk how to fix it. Its really annoying.
@@someone9149 try dry shampoo, even if your hair isn’t greasy yet. (The salon ones also won’t make your hair white lol)I put in a little bit every morning and night so the grease really only starts to show on day 4. I was one of those people to wash my hair every day because it got so nasty. It took about three weeks to work my way up to washing my hair every 4 days. Changing your pillowcase every time you wash your hair will make sure the grease doesn’t get put onto clean hair. I also recommend keeping your hair up as much as you can. I don’t like wearing my hair up out of the house but whenever I’m home it’s in a bun, braid or ponytail. I hope this helps lol
@@someone9149 every scalp is different but a lot of times people with oily scalps are washing their hair too often which leads to it drying out the hair and scalp so ur body produces mass amounts of oil in a short period of time to try and keep the hair and scalp from drying out! i know it’ll be annoying since ur hair gets so oily so fast but try to give a little more time in between washing sessions to see if that helps!
@@gracelemire2589 I've had this issue since I was very small. I tried not to wash it often but it doesn't work. I don't get split ends often if not at all so I don't think my hair is dry but idk like I'm said I'm not an expert lol. XD
It never occurred to me that the part in one’s hair would be more tan than the rest of the scalp but that does make sense!!
Yes, it makes total sense. I have had a basal cell carcinoma, on the lower back portion of my scalp, removed several years ago. Living in a tropical climate makes me very conscious of the sun beating down on my hair and scalp. I try to wear a loose hat as often as I can.
i have had a parting in the same place for most of my life. nothing has ever burnt. the skin there is so white it's almost blue. idk

that's good one
can we talk about how pretty she looks when she’s asleep. HOW DO I LEARN TO LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN ASLEEP?! 😭😭
Right? Sleeping Beauty.
And people question why Japanese people say it takes them years to “master” their crafts
I wish they had this in the United States!
But nobody would want to work there! Especially not to get qualified like this lady. Just as you said.
nice profile picture!
My scalp was tingling, screaming “why don’t you do this for me?!😡”
I cant believe i watched someone washing their head for 38 minutes lol😂
Its so satisfying
Hahahaha
I have coily hair, I COMB IT and BRUSH IT in the shower while I wash it. Takes atleast 20 minutes to do it correctly.

Well, as fellow memers. "Anything for the memes"
The woman didn’t say to her imagine yours. The one getting her hair done is who said it to us that imagine ours because we don’t get our scalp cleaned regularly. She tries to goes often she said so if hers looks like that then imagine what ours would look like
SAME AHAAH
Oh dear, I don't want to imagine what mine looks like. I have cronic dandruff and I frequently scratch my scalp. There's also hairdye residue regularly. There's not just gonna be a little oil and dirt in there, but bit flakes of dandruff and the occasional scab too 😬
same, its terrible over here in my scalp... painful too...
I have the same dandruff problem, it makes my scalp super itchy, to where there's scabs here and there now. It doesn't help that my scalp gets really greasy sometimes, and I have wash my hair every 2 days otherwise my scalp will become itchy again.
It's a real pain, I cant imagine what it'll look like under a microscope.
@@lokirae3 For me it's gotten a little better once I started washing my hair less frequently, I now wash it once every 5-7 days. But it itches for me too after maybe 4 days
@@lokirae3 I recommend using Vichy Dercos, shampoo in the following way: 1) first use apply the product and let it sit for 2 minutes , rinse 2) use the product for 2 to 4 weeks - wash your hair with it 1 to 2 times a week. Just apply and rinse. It doesn't have to sit for 2 minutes. 3) when you notice scabs and dandruff disappear stop using the product and wash your hair with any shampoo which is not aggressive or synthetic. Apply the product only when the dandruff and itching reappear. I have been doing that for years and it has helped. Vichy is expensive but the bottle lasts for a long time.
@@elizabethbeatles I swear to that shampoo as well
This lady is so sweet, so gentle, yet straight to the point and precious💙
We have a wierd culture nowadays.
Friend: so watcha doing?
Me: watching a random person get their scalp cleaned
Friend: ... worried about your hygiene?
Me: no it's being done professionally at Japanese spa I could never afford
Friend: like an educational video?
Me: no. Like it's personalized for this other woman's scalp...and in Japanese
Friend: why watch
Me: I find soothing
Yeah
I do not know why I’m watching this, as I have a shaved head. It was so soothing and relaxing watching her work. She has a soft ,gentle , caring touch. Very nice.
The hot steam/water on the towel whilst it was on your head looks like it felt amaaazing!

True
as somebody with dandruff, seeing my scalp under the microscope would be so embarrassing lmao
Felt lmao
I feel that on an emotional level. Lol

Honestly true
I know makes me scared to do these types of things.. its not like I don't try to care for my scalp n hair its just damn hard to get rid of it
The customer service is other worldly. It really does make or break an experience.
Dude, my sister was living in Japan for a couple of years. She said the customer service was so good there she hates living in the US now because of it🤣🤣
Could you imagine doing this, then getting a full body massage, then seeing the chiroptactor??
I would probably want to go chiropractor > massage > scalp
@@EJRainbow or Chiropractor, scalp, massage
I think I would get my scalp done last- after having that sort of deep clean I’d want to go home and savor the cleanliness instead of going out and being touched by more people

It's something about videos like this at night that hit different and relax you
when she said "imagine yours" i felt so insecure for a whole minute
What an incredible amount of patience and empathy it must take to perform this job...
You can’t get anything like this in the USA, salons just want to get you in and out, they won’t take much time with you. I want to go to Japan just to get a good massage and some seafood!!!
@@qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm1504 why the ????
@@lolitasfake probably because OP generalize an entire country

Where in Japan they value time and relaxation yanno?
Right! Some hair stylists get mad if you don’t come with hair already washed!
Watching this makes me feel so relaxed and sleepy. Imagine how it would feel!!!😭
Also, when they both said about taking care of each other, is that a part of the Japanese culture to say that? Cause that's so considerate!! Wow.

Yes
Living in Europe, I miss Japans’s uniquely polite, sensitive and gentle customer service SO much.
As a hairdresser I considered myself damn good at washing hair. After watching this I feel like I need to rethink that.
I love having my hair brushed because it’s so relaxing to me. If I had this done I would probably go limp and fall out of the chair. Her voice is so relaxing as well. Very peaceful and relaxing video.
Now, I’m a guy with not even close to that long of hair, but seeing the treatment, makes me want to go even if it won’t do much for me. It looks amazing, and sounds fricking amazing.
well, it’s a SCALP treatment, it doesn’t really matter the hair length!
Lol it's for your scalp not really your hair
I think more guys should do these things and also pedicures.
After watching numerous videos on Japanese culture and ASMR I come to realise that Japanese culture is so soothing and comforting. Feels like you can just go anywhere in Japan and be treated with respect and become so comfortable with the stranger that you could just take a nap at their place of business and not have to worry about getting kicked out or yelled at lol.
😂
Eastern culture is generally more hospitable i think
Let's not get carried away with generalizations in the comments 😅 There's plenty of videos from foreigners living in Japan that would suggest it's mixed bag, like every other culture and place in the world.
@@ad2094 yes, I get it. There's good and bad in every society and culture. I lived in Okinawa for about a year when my cousin was stationed at Butler when he was in the Marine Corp. Reminder for everyone! While cleaning your hair is good, and like this is definitely good, doing it every day will make it unhealthy! The way your hair gets its natural glow and shine, are the oils. Washing it every other day, so it still has that shine but still stays soft, is fine.
Every other day is still too much. Twice a week is more than enough
And then there’s my hair that will become a limp pile of grease if it’s not shampooed and conditioned every day
