Can you do axolotl‘s? I have 2 of them and they are high maintenance, but it is so worth it
Dalmatian
Cockroach
Please do Bilbies!
Also, make sure you give your hamster the biggest cage you can afford for it. They need plenty of space to run around in, just like rats and mice.
I don't think 'the biggest you can afford' is the right advice. Those stupid tiny, colorful cages in pet stores cost 5x more than a bin cage. If you want a cage that isn't that expensive but also look good, I advice to look on marketplace for a secondhand aquarium or terrarium. My 40*40*100 cm terrarium costed me 25 euros
@@MikeTyson-sl6wr 'the biggest you can afford' I think op meant Size-wise, that you can afford to fit in your house..not money wise
Mine like running in the big wheels with holes in
I used to just let mine live in the whole house lol
You should give them freedom instead of cage
Not that one hamster deep throating the bottle holy shit 💀
In Filipino the"holy shit" is "BANAL NA TAE"
Should I call her ?
They're great but they have such an incredible short lifespan which hurts.
True! 🥲
How much they live?
@@GianfrancoZepskrivaries *wildly*
@@GianfrancoZepskri 1,5-3 years, super rare to go higher. Oldest was apparently 4.5 year old
2-3 years is a normal lifespan. Depends on the hamsters health. A lot of things matter and rather increase or decrease the lifespan.
I misread the bottom and thought it said "Hamsters make great pies."
😅😅
Maybe they do
@@nounaboubou4513oh, they _do_
Great source of fat and protein. Good snack for other predators. So yeah. Hamster pie sounds good. Btw. It's not a kid pet.
As in they’d be great in a pie? Or they’d bake great pies? Because I just got an image of a hamster wearing a teeny chefs hat and an apron, little bitty bowl and spoon in hand.
That Hamster with the cucumber slowly fallin over.. 👍🏻👍🏻😆
Lol
Hamsters serve really valuable purpose as a pet they introduce and teach kids what the death is
I always found the sound of their running rather calming and helped me sleep
Great video! Please map in mind the flying saucer and mesh hamster wheels are not safe because they can fling hamsters off causing injuries, and catch limbs and can tear them off
True. Thanks for sharing!
I don’t know why but part where the hamster is running through the hallway made me laugh 😂
Im 54 now but growing up in the 1970s i had several hamsters but only one at a time. No matter what we did with their cage after about 3 months on average they would escape. They would be gone for at least 2 weeks sometimes up to a month. Id finally hear something and able to catch them every single time but they didnt live long after escape and revovery. I imagine it was due to lack of water. They became such a frustrating pet to own. Back then the "Habitrail" system was popular and seemed quite effective, until the little suckers would chew thru one of the vent covers. They only needed a hole size of a quarter to escape. Used to crack me up how they would fill their pouches. Had one that loved that clear ball to roll around in, but he would go at it hard until he puked then was time to go back to the cage and i had to clean up the ball.
Haven't gave any thought to hamsters lately until this vid came up. Memories are 50/50 good and not so good.
Also keep in mind they need 600 Square inches of space minimum 1200 maximum
There’s never a maximum for how big ur hamsters cage can be??
@@ThatPreppy_EQyes there is bro
@@Xi_Jing_ping I have done my research and I do currently own a hamster in a 800 sq inch enclosure but how is there a maximum??
That first clip got me❤😂
This is so cute, adorable and hilarious on so many different levels! 🤣🥰🐹 PS: That 1 hamster with the water bottle, umm...😳👀🫣🤭
heheh true! 😅 Thanks for watching!!
@@1MinuteAnimals As always, thanks for sharing!!
He's going to be very popular.
@@Serai3 LOL 😆
Hamsters require stimulation yknow, be it exercise, exploring, or- or uhmmm..
Also, to note. These animals are typically solitary animals. You can train them to like or tolerate you, but depending on the personality, they won't like other hamsters in their home nor will be friendly towards strangers. Nor will some like being touched. And never put a hamster on their back where their food comes out of their mouth. You will stress your pet out, and it will cause it to become aggressive or sick.
Be careful placing hamsters together and monitor them. They are known cannibals. Don't mess with the mother's nest and make sure food is provided, or else you will have a few fewer hamsters in the cage.
I found out the cannibalism part the hard way. I was told by the pet store that I should get 2 so they don't get lonely. About a month later I had to explain to my 6 year old why one hamster was dead with pieces missing and the other one had blood on it's face.

Yep, back at it with the very thirsty hampter, glad we can all glance over that one due to all the cuteness.
Yeah I was hoping I wasn't going to see some asshole you know making comments about exactly what you're you know NOT making a comment about, 😁 it was pretty funny though
@@RoseBushThorns588and yet here you are, disgusting.
And they poop neatly. Gerbils, on the other hand, are wet runners. You do not want to have to clean up after _them._
Remember the minimum is 100, 50 and they are very expensive pets I DONT recommend pet shops they are so much work do your research aswell!
Unfortunately they don’t live very long.
I love how these videos always exclude how to build a safe environment for the soon-to-be pet
This is grabby kid fuel
I love and adore these babies, my syrian hamster Daisy passed away recently, she will be missed forever ❤️. Show love to the little ones out there they don't live long and deserve happiness 💖.
Great lovable family members
They are very greedy for food...🤭
So Cute🐹
That one hamster that flew off the blue wheel 👁️👁️💀
Remember, if you get a big cage for your hamster, it will reduce the chances of them escaping. I would recommend a fish tank and filled up with at least 6 inches of bedding. Also don’t have multiple hamsters in one cage. It can lead to fights that could end up in death I have a hamster and if you give them the proper care they are some of the most low maintenance and best pets you can have
Give them the proper hair? What kind of hair do you recommend?
I had a Syrian Long Haired hamster and that lil mf'er was an *escape artist* this lil shit would BALANCE ON TOP OF HER WHEEL AND PUSH UP/ OUT THE CAGE LID and then escaped. I kept having to get different/more complex lock cages cause every morning, I'd wake up and the cage door wide open. Thank god she always went to my closet but eventually I to weigh down the mesh top down with an Ann Rice book cause otherwise, the lid is too light for my beast of a hamster 😆
🤣🥰 cuteness overload
They are also nocturnal, and no matter how often you clean/change out the cage bedding, they have a very distinct smell that is not pleasant. It doesn’t exactly stink, but it isn’t a smell you want to live with.
Nonsense, you get used to it very quickly
ALSO, DO NOT PUT HAMSTERS TOGETHER, THEY WILL MOST LIKELY TRY TO KILL EACHOTHER
...hmm why are the therians so active recently?
Eh not entirely true , Phodopus family of hamsters are family bred hamsters they are meant to be together however majority of hamsters don’t go well together this is true
Dude that throat goat ah hamster
😂😂
My nephew looked a lot like this.

What about the miniature giant space version?
What
hamsters are one of the cutest pets to have 🐹💛
I have a dwarf hamster!
Here's an idea for hamster. Maybe other little small animals. Have a big tank, but get clear pipes. Run them along your room, up and down also along the top of your room. It lets them exercise and also be up high looking down on the room. The pipe will circle back around and go back into the other side of the tank so they can go back in when they want. Can also put little small tanks up top for them to chill in. Like little tiny homes along the parameter of your room. Random idea.
I guess u could also do this with a fish tank. Let the fish swim in clear plexiglass pipes along the perimeter of the room 🤔
That is too much work for the average person and far too expensive for a pet that lives a couple years at best. Such an investment is only worth it if you can easily afford it or are in a perpetual cycle of buying and looking after hamsters.
@@maozedong8370 it's plexiglass.. hardly expensive like you're imagining.. 2 inch clear pipe at best with some clear 90 degree corners.
This is for people who like projects and love to build. That's why I said "an idea". It's not meant for "one animal" and that's it, and take it down..
This is far better than keeping them in a tiny box with zero room to hardly move around.
Those pipes are hard to clean and don't have ventilation
@@feuerling it's plexiglass. U can always put a few drilled holes up top. They also make large pipe cleaners w bristles that u can spin. It's very simple.
Also, they live for like one year at most, so keep them happy while you have them, you really shouldn't have time to get bored of them.
Mine lived for 2 years
...son geniales 🐹
Cuter version of rat
Nuh uh
That's your personal taste
Be careful if you get them a ball that they can travel around in they always find a way to escape! 🤦♀️🐹❤
You actually shouldn’t use hamster balls at all. They can be extremely dangerous because they have poor ventilation and they can get their toes stuck in the slits, causing them to be ripped out
@@Beaweeng Thank you for this information!
@@amichaels1871 happy to help
@@Beaweeng Also theyre not the best at "steering" the ball and might run towards a hard surface and hurt themselves
Bro the hamster was spinning
I used to have a hamster, she died a few months ago. I loved her.
I love how the start is the most traumatizing image of a hamster’s mouth I have ever seen.

Nope 👹
I miss my hamster watching this, I miss my mousey 😢😢😢
They also like to bite like crazy
No they don’t you aren’t treating him well if he bites you
my mom named a hamster killer because it bit people and KILLED the other hamster lol.
(not saying hamsters wouldn't make great pets, just sharing a story on the topic)
Well hamsters shouldn't live in a cage with other hamsters to begin with.
@@iFxlcoNDEdepends on the hamster , Phodopus breed hamsters are usually just fine together but any other breed is going to fight and kill eachother yes
I love hamdters♥️♥️
How do you train them to do the hamster dance?
You don’t
It's not easy. First thing you must do is find the right music. That could take a while, but don't give up. The end result will be more than worth it!! 🐹
I loved my hamsters as a kid 😂😂😂 mine always escaped lol and I always found him underneath my bed lol they are so organized. A corner for bed, corner for the bathroom, corner for food 😅 my Charlie lasted 5 years 😊
Was it Syrian hamster?
Lol
Men so much lol , after every word lol

great vid now I want a hamster running around my house they are pretty cute
Never buy an all plastic cage unless you want them living in your walls
i actually have a hamster right now, he nips and kinda bites anyone but me

Thank you for watching! ❤️
One time my younger sister had 2 hamsters and one died. The other one wasnt about to let that meat go to waste and gnawed off the hesd. It was so metal
A much better specimen than I am. :(
Remember big cage and at least 11 inch weel and not just a weel will make them happy they need enrichment
600 Square inches minimum
They don't live very long, so be prepared for that.
Les miens ouvraient leur cage et promenaient dans ma chambre 😂
I love hamsters!❤
Ratty to run
But if it leaves its cage you lose them so be careful

Not entirely true either it depends on the hamster it shouldn’t be accessible by more than one hamster

No wire anything.
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 so cute >Д
No they're just menaces
it's funny that people spend hundreds of dollars on these little pets that only live for two to three years. 😅 they are cute though. 😊
Also if you put two females together they may fight. I had two female dwarf hamsters as a kid and they hated each other. Then magically one was dead and the other was lying on top of her corpse….it might have been natural causes but… 👀

I have a question: Is there a difference between the hamster shown and a teddy bear hamster? 🐹🐹❤️❤️🤗🤗
I owned both. A regular hamster, like the Syrian ones, is typically more friendly than dwarf/teddy bear hamsters. The bigger breeds are less active and have more personalities, in my opinion.
The smaller breeds tend to be less social , and no matter what people tell you, the small breeds are very territorial and will attack each other or may nip you.
Each breed are solitary animals, they're not like guinea pigs or rats. They won't usually form social bonds with each other, so its important for people to socialize them so they are willing to be more friendly with each other and you.
@@raythunder8619 Thank you so much for the info! It's helping me decide what/if I should get my grandsons to enjoy and learn about responsibility. 👍👍
Единственный минус это то что они мало живут, и жто очень обидно
Oh my I got my hamster in first grade and in 2024 when I was in second grade, it died, so hamsters are the most early pets to die Show you shouldn’t get one!!
How about plague
😮😊
Don’t they die like every 3/4 years?
While it's true that the average lifespan of a hamster is around 2 to 3 years, some may live longer with proper care and a healthy environment. Like all living creatures, the lifespan of a hamster can vary depending on factors such as genetics, diet, exercise, and overall health. It's important to provide them with a balanced diet, suitable living conditions, and regular veterinary care to help ensure a longer and healthier life.
Rodents in general don’t live very long
Yeah they generally live 2-3 years, but preparing yourself mentally for their lifespan helps. I adopt hamsters in bad living situations from the marketplace, with the idea of adopting one after the other until I'm done with my 4 year study. I'm still on my first hamster which I adopted when she was 10 months old and I'm already preparing myself for her becoming an old citizen this winter
ive never eaten a hamster. but whenever i see one i get hungry. i wonder how their meat taste like, thou i doubt theres much meat in them.
