I could listen to the first minute of the song along on repeat and be more than satisfied then add the voice and it's suddenly even better.
Possibly one of their best songs - reminds me of the Joy Formidable which is a great thing.
And the fact that when you search nightmares or nightmares song on CZcams all kind of crap appears except this gem, makes me cry!

This is honestly the first band of skulls song I've ever heard and it kind of hit me right in the heart...I need to go hug my girlfriend now after that... :') We have been kind of fighting a bit lately...

The (guitar) tone on this one is superb. If anyone has insights on getting a similar sound...
Mainly the intro/verse tone.
He's definitely using a POG or a similar sort of octave pedal to thicken his tone, especially on the high end, and running that into some pretty saturated tape delay. You can be sure he's playing a Jazzmaster into a Fender amp, and if you want top see any of his gear check out his RIg Rundown on the PremiereGuitar youtube channel, it's sweet as hell.
kittehhatetube sounds like an octave pedal and some fuzz distortion on a clean channel
