I bought an extractor tip on Amazon for $10, duct taped it to a shop vac, and filled a spray bottle. Slower but worked fine where it was needed
Cool. Thanks for sharing.
That's exactly what I have, took both longest hose (water and vacuum) bought the entire kit and absolutely love it, and way cheaper than a professional one. 100% approved by the one I cleaned their car interiors 😉👍
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Nice attachment. Thanks for the tips
I need this. Thank you
Great video Phil. I've been eyeing the Ripclean Kit for quite some time.
It’s a pretty awesome kit. I use it more than my Myteelite now.
Wow technology thats amazing Phil what a really sweet alternative. Been playing catch up on todays and the last two vids as i had a death in the family. Your videos are exactly what i needed to relax de-stress all why learning. Thanks so much Appreciate You Phil!!
I’m so sorry for your loss 😞
I’m glad our vids could provide some comfort or distraction.
Awesome review Phil. Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻
Thanks man!
Good looking setup in my opinion. You are always showing us the latest cool tools and tricks. Thank you!
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
Great video review and demo Phil. I have the same type of setup and works absolutely amazing. Appreciate the content and hope you and everyone is having a good day.
Thanks!
Looks like a really nice kit, thanks Phil 👍😁
It is! 😎👍🏼
I can’t thank you enough for showing me that accessory kit because I use gas to heat up my water and it’s gonna be cheaper for me than electricity because my garage is at my home, the only thing I have to work on now is having hot water in my garage. Please keep up the great videos. And Sorry for any misspellings or grammar error
Awesome man! You’re welcome! 😎👍🏼
Instagram comments on a side by side test of a Hoover extractor vs a Hart wet vac with kit are on point. It's not really a fair test the way it's done. I'd really like to buy one but even the reviews on their website are not all that great.
Fantastic idea at a fraction of the cost
Looks like it’ll make a nice add on to my ridgid shop vac. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Good concept. It really comes down to time and efficiency, what price would an individual put on that is the real question. Great video and demonstration!
Thanks
Phil,
You did such a good job with this video it’s sold out on Amazon!
Thanks! Aw man! Don’t worry. It will be back. You can buy it on their site also
It’s a good start up set, I used this when I first started. Then upgraded to a professional extractor. Good video for the people starting up and don’t have $800-$1000 to buy a nice one
Definitely! That’s funny though. I have had this Myteelite 8070 for about 15 years now and I use this kit more than the Myteelite.
@@MirandaDetailing that may be partially due to the interior you’re cleaning is not heavily soiled so this kit makes perfect sense.
Amazing video and product review good friend
Thanks so much
I have a vacmaster since I don't do a lot of upholstery I went with something that gets the job done while not breaking the bank and has great suction
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, the ripclean
I bought the ripclean hose kit 2 years ago It works great and I did buy Velcro roll off Amazon. A little ways down.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing!
I use silver or gold wire brush for sticky stuck messes like that. They usually feel rough or hard to the touch but it’s no match. Less than 20 seconds gone and turned into crumbs.
Cool. Thanks for sharing. 😎👍🏼
I have mine hooked up to a Dewalt stealthsonic 12 gallon wet/dry vac. Makes it a super quiet extractor 👍
That’s cool!! Thanks for sharing! 😎👍🏼
whats your normal vac then? those suckers are huge.
@@keeganbennett6724 I use the 4 gallon rigid shop vac with the car detailing kit from Home Depot.
@@keeganbennett6724 I use the Ridgid 4 gallon shop vac with the car detailing kit from Home Depot.
Dear phil agai. Great video congratulations i love this idea, i hope will be available in Europe some day. Let me ask please your opinion. I have a simple wet vac. If i just put ,a similar nozzle like this ( plastic transparent) without using water from pipe or other source ( i dont like the water saturation on the cloth / carpets, can i use just the vac with the nozzle with no added water to.suck the dirt and the cleaner ( to some level) with some added moisture from my steamer ,or a small amount of water from mypump sprayer?
You think will work to some degree accepting the limitations?
Hi. Thanks for
Yah you can use just the nozzle part on a vacuum. It should work fine.
Very informative, thanks. I have a 4hp vac, is that enough hp to operate?
Oh that should be fine.
That's pretty neat set up. Cool idea. Hi wife.
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
Great video, Phil! Thanks for all of the research and info that you've shared. Question...I mistakenly left 1 of my passenger rear windows partially down and it rained. As a result, part of my back seat and the back of my passenger seat got wet. Should I extract the water, use microfiber towels to dry them or let them air dry? Please advise.
Hi. Thanks. I would definitely dry it with towel and extract as soon as possible. Then let the rest air dry with a fan or put in the sun.
@@MirandaDetailing Thanks SO MUCH for your reply!! MUCH appreciated!!!
@chelsabailey1018 you’re welcome.
This is great for a mobile detailer on a budget working with slightly stained or soiled interiors. Otherwise you’d have to go with a Mytee or a professional heater carpet extractor.
Hi. Yeah it’s great. I have a Myteelite 8070 and it’s awesome. But I find myself using this kit more than the Myteelite. It can definitely tackle heavily stained carpets and upholstery.
Have you not had success with it on really bad stains?
@@MirandaDetailing it’s a great setup, interiors that are heavily stained or soiled I find I’d have to make too many passes and as a mobile dealer you know time is money. There’s certain situations where you need steam.
@@RodneyCooperFilmz oh yeah. I have a steamer also and sometimes need it. More for sticky stuff on hard surfaces.
Phil, is the water jet necessary as can prespray the water and still use the vacuum to remove?
The water pressure from the nozzle while simultaneously vacuuming is what really does the work. You could just spray and vac, but this nozzle is more effective.
They sell a super slick Clear Bucket setup also
Cool!!
My back needs whatever stand you are using to place those mats on. Any chance you remember where you got it ?
Hi. Oh yeah. It’s this one. amzn.to/3UBGETg
I wonder how well it would work on cleaning a cloth seats and a sofa for home use?
Hi. Not sure yet since I haven’t had a vehicle that needed it. But I have seen a lot of other videos on this kit and it was used on upholstery and worked really well.
The hotter the water the better. Hot water cleans better and dries faster
Exactly!
Do you have a link to the RipClean Kit
Hi. Yup, links in the description.
That’s a nice setup Phill
Thanks!
👍👍👍
Good job! That water was nasty!
Thanks
hi where do I download the diluted ratio app
Hi. The link is in the description. 😎👍🏼
I thought about this, but then you lose your vacuum. Im currently experimenting with spray cleaner drill brush , steam extract with vac with clear nozzle to see what is removed.
Do your vacuuming first the dump into trash bag, then use with extraction kit. Or just buy another vacuum and only use the base drum, that is what I did.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
You can do that also
czcams.com/video/WwfBaMSiik4/video.htmlsi=JzS1KDL9ewCJQkiu
@@MirandaDetailing Thanks phil, but after experimenting even the little green pro heat sucks up more residue than 6hp vac. So i guess extractor is the way to go.
mmm delicious 😆
Video only 5 days old and kit already unavailable on Amazon link provided?
Aw man! Even on their official website?
Don’t worry. It will be back in stock soon.
Has anyone tried with just gravity feeding water?
Hi. I dont think it will work since the water line needs pressure to make it work. the pressure from a garden hose is sufficient. But anything less, it wont have the pressure to work.
First!!!
So who had hit water delivery built into their garage? Maybe 1%?
Really? 1% 🤣 lots of houses have both hot and cold water piped into their garages. It’s not that uncommon. It’s a tankless water heater for our entire house that happens to be located in our garage.
You can even get a small tankless water heater specifically plumbed for a garage, it’s very affordable.
