Swedish refs... did not want to see Finland vs Sweden in finals so give 'muricans a power play. It is astonishing that when Finland plays, the refs are always either swedes or swiss that clearly are politically chosen. Watch what happened to Jormakka... There the swedes did not dare to "enrage" the ruzzians so a foul went totally unpunished.
I'm Finnish and have to say USA deserved the win. They were totally dominating rounds 2 and 3. Finland did like 3 clear high sticks which weren't called. Despite the lousy refereeing the right team won.

The IIHF should be ashamed to have refs and linesmen like that reffing at this level. I get it, the whole world hates any team USA, but leave that crap off of the ice. They did, but the refs missed at least 4 horrible high sticks and a ton of holds and hooks. Fortunately talent won out.
