Interesting video but thats not how you use a preamp/amp setup. The volume on the amp is supposed to be maxxed all the time and you only use the volume on the preamp.

Fosi P3 is great. Unbelievable value for 70 euros!!! The unit is very well build. Aptx aptx HD. Etc. Sounds great in combination with my Fosi MC 101. I use large 4 way speakers Quart 850S. Amazing sound. The amp is really good. The preamp Fosi P3 is a jewel.

Hello, thank you very much. My question is about the new fosi mc351, I want to buy it and connect it to passive speakers. Do you recommend this preamplifier with this model of amplifier together? Would I lose the digital optical connection to the TV, which is my intention, because I suppose that the p3 is connected first by RCA and from there it would have to go to the mc351 and then to the speakers, right? Would it be worth it? I would appreciate your advice, it would be very kind.
In the same setup, can I use SMSL SU-1 as a DAC for TV and into the P3 > ZA3 > Speakers?
They sound really great, Bass is rumbling like a if using a sub. I don't know if we can swap opamps on the P3

Tx20 much deeper smoother bass and handles power much better
I have a pair of SSCS5'S and for the price they are very nice! Hard to beat around $120. And with the za3 they sound even better lol great budget combo.
I gave my Sony's to a friend who got his first receiver a Kenwood , I like my xt 20's much more , better Bass for sure 😊
It seems as tho the sonys bass is amp dependent. On my old Yamaha, they definitely lack bottom end but on the za3 they come alive. More bass, more attack, I guess from higher current. For music (rock/metal), I could almost live without a subwoofer. The Yamaha makes the bass sound a bit distorted when pushed, but za3 controls the driver much better. Allows the sonys to be pushed much harder before falling apart. In a small room, my ears tap out before the sonys start to distort on the za3.
I have polks and dayton audio bookshelf speakers both sound really good
