Wizard101 - Getting 99% Purely Universal Resist (Highest Possible) [Before Spring Update 2020]

- I had completed this set around October 2016, but didn't get a chance to record it without problems. This is the highest amount of strictly universal resist you can achieve in the game. Some people haven't shared it so much so less people have known, and rumors fly around, so I decided to prove it here c= .
Extra Notes:
-The Prestigious Shoes from the Epic Bundle are the other boots that give 18 resist. Not the True Silver Boots. (Thanks to MCLapios for the clarification).
-Elissa's Chill Band can be found in Zafaria.
-Heartsteel can be found in the Crown Shop or from Prince GobbleStone in Colossus Boulevard.

fun fact when wiz first started you were able to get spell defying twice in the same pet and its so rare to find a person with it i thought you would have it
ki patched it so you'd only have resist worth one of the proofs/defys so if you had 10% proof twice you'd only have 10% not 20%
dave Penguin it was double defy and only 1 proof it all added up but i dont think you could make a pet like that anymore

y'all can use fortify or brace to get immunity in battle, with them, even against bosses with 15 pierce you will still have immunity

You can now get 206 universal resist with the right pet and jewels

+Bionic Clown highest fire damage pet would be a quad damage proof pet with fire boon jewel that is also max stats

+Bionic Clown normally a quint damage pet that's max stats plus a 65 strength jewel would be the highest damage possible but fire boon is not a talent on any pets currently but there is a jewel

Remember there used to be a pet glitch to get double spell proof also.. There are very few players with them still
yes its possible to get double proof but ki patched it so that you would only get resist worth one of the proofs while the other would be an empty stat

You can get full immunity if you have every thing the same, but having the rattle bones or krokopatra wand, and school specific resist talents and jewels on your pet
with school specific he would only get 15% to 6 schools, not even all 7, and less resist.

Well, actually you can Get Immunity to all schools, not through a universal way but it is possible to be immune to elemental balance and spirit at the same time

there is Wands now that have Square slots in them you can use Opals in. and there are +26 Resist opals. 1 in wand +1in Athem + 1 in Ring +2 in neck + 1 in Deck = 156 in Resist Not counting gear, Pet spell proof/Denys/Wards or Pet Star Resist Gems.
Jeffrey_40K Resist Jewels don't add to your resist at all, it's not a % it's a + which means it takes away (x) amount of damage.

Mounts: Outgoing heal (Elephant), Power Pip chance (Boba yagga House) , Pierce (Clockwork Horse) , Accuracy (Gem Horse) and +Damage Mounts (Gulthers) so far that I know of.
My man you the man I could never get resist like that my best was 80 with 100 jewel block
perhaps an example in actual combat to see how op this resist is. I feel that'd be something gr8 to see.
In regular combat, it would just be fun to see all the zeros that show up. In pvp or higher level combat, I'll be offset by pierce, but gives me an idea of what to do for a future video c=

All you need is the Kroger jewel that gives 3% resist
Although I don't know the difference after taking out the other jewel
You said you're open for hatches I would like to hatch it
So technically with real max stat pet you can get about 99.5% resist and with jewels essentially be immune without pierce needing to do about 20,000 damage to even do any damage
Good for you... but the resist won't help against high pierce. You knew that. Getting 99% universal resist would be such a time constraint, I wouldn't fathom trying.
this is like only useful for questing and stuff if you have no team because most enemies have no resist (even old cob only has 7%

you could probably get 100% universal resist if you substituted the unshakable jewel with a spell proof jewel. not sure if you've tried already but it could work.
you cant put a jewel of a talent you already have
There is a boss he drops the spell catch of the day and he drops 2% resist wands for each school specefic one
cant you find 1% resist to most schools somewhere on other gear and be immune to like half schools and 99% to the rest
Do pvp and only shield and only carry one hit and waste your opponents time.
I wanna see you go in a PvP matches, solely supportive.

Give your pet a jewel that gives universal resistance mine gives a five percent resist to every thing
If he used a ten percent universal resist jewel it would be over 100
you can get 97% universal any class and 99% universal for ice
Salt Dragon 98 for balance. Theres a balance ring that gives 2 resist.

You could garden for a spell proof or spell defy pet jewel i have one on my max it helps a lot

You missing the universal jewel shield which would put you pass 105
I think there is star jewel for pets which gives 10 universal resist

You can more then 99% resist as an ice if i can get 99% as a life
I was just curious if you can get such high resist that if someone casts a fire elf on you it will do no damage even overtime with dot.

Wish there is a way to get that high without pet I have a pet that has a lot of sentimental value to me I really love her and I'm not willing to give her up that's a dealbreaker. She gives me 9% defense so it's not like she give me nothing in terms of defense just not as high as the pet in your video.

THE TANGLEWOOD TERROR WAND GIVES 6 RESIST 55 BLOCK PIP CHANCE AND STUN BLOCK, DO TANGLEWOOD
The Live Realm ones don't give resist. Only stun. The one's in Test Realm had resist, but they didn't make it to Live Realm.

Guardian spirit is life only and guardian spirit tc doesn't exist, are you new?
Jimmy Cool Cook, Holy shit calm down. Anyway, only one or two guardian spirits aren't nearly enough.
The Battle Cherub cards are No PvP, so the only way for non-life schools to get Guardian Spirit is with the Mandolin of Evermore, which only gives one.
Don't forget the boots that give it, but that would lower his resist significantly.

Did not know about that wand and the boots, i did calculations and thought 96% universal was max. I've seen one person with that 7/14 pet, but didnt ask for a hatch. Kinda stupud of me. Anyways, wanna hatch? :D
