    I’m a 49 year old American & usually only listen to Classic Rock, the 80’s-90’s and a little Smooth Jazz. But lately I’ve started to explore music from other countries and I gotta say that this Greek style is downright Amazing. I especially luv these upbeat songs with the long guitar (Bouzouki) solos. Can’t get enough of it & definitely going to be listening to alot more from now on.

    The Greek Bouzouki changed my life. It was the first instrument I picked up as a kid after seeing “E Muzeki” play at the local renaissance fair. My parents got me it from Greece as a Christmas present. It opened me up to playing violin, piano, and guitar. My love to Greece!

      I think you have can have very good reasons to take Bouzuki lessons. But people of any nationality, whether they are a proud Greek or not, can enjoy it. @Bibliophilia The father of Andreas Karantinis is Manolis Karantinis, a top Bouzouki player himself. He indeed taught his son and he is as Greek as you can get. Don't talk ignorant Turkish nonsense

    • @stavrosnicolaou4702
      @stavrosnicolaou4702 Před 2 lety

      @@yomammafat8926 His father Manolis is 56 and he has been playing since the age of 7. He is a master player/teacher of all all stringed instruments(not the violin)
      Andreas, the son who plays here, is about 30, so he must have been learning and playing for about 20-25 years. I think father and son are as good as each other but there are many other playerrs of the same calibre in Greece where the bouzouki is revered.
      The bouzouki can speak to a Greek heart without an interpreter and heal a Greek soul bypassing medicines and psychotherapists
